Lt Governor?
So everyone seems to be narrowing the list on Governor down to Kind, Lawton, maybe Falk, Erpenbach and Barrett. Beyond that though, everyone seems to think that is it. However, what no one is talking about is who is going to replace the Lt Governor? Who is the next Barbara Lawton?

I've heard Lena Taylor's name -- but she lost her party election and lost the County Executive election. I don't see how she can run and win. I'm really thinking it should be a member of the legislature, either someone young like Senator Julie Lassa or someone who has some good experience and has been involved a lot, like Mary Hubler. Both would be unique people for the spot. What are your thoughts?

3. She and Spencer Coggs
Here is the newest story: http://www.jsonline.com/newswatch/53808722.html

I think we need to decide who we want and ask them to run. Why can't we be the ones calling people and getting them to run?

5. My alderman is in the race already
Ald. Tony Zielinski from Milwaukee has thrown his hat in, and is the one one to do it officially so far.

It would be funny if he won and Tom Barrett got in for the Guv's job, and won... but nothing is known about how Mayor B. feels about running. He's doing very well here, and personally, I like him where he's at. I'm not sure how Tony Z. would fare, either. Little to no name recognition outside Milwaukee, but he's a very formidable campaigner. We'll see...

6. Hubler for LG
Mary would be great. An all-Milwaukee ticket would be a diaster, but a Tom Barrett/Mary Hubler ticket might keep the seat in Democratic hands.

Lena Taylor is a nice lady but simply nuts
