Why are so many Republican idiots in this state named Scott?
Jensen, Walker, Klug, Suder, etc.

1. It
is getting so bad the good guy "Scotts" will be changing their names in the coming year. Don't be surprised if Walker pardons Jensen so he can get back in politics.

2. I hadn't thought of that, but why not?
Maybe the Republican Legislature will vote back pay for him or something.

3. Walker's statement
The Journal-Sentinel headline on this said, "Walker doesn't foresee pardon for Jensen." But the pertinent quote: Asked Tuesday if he would consider pardoning Jensen, Walker shook his head and said, "No, I think the criminal justice process worked itself out. The judge made a decision there. My guess is he's just ready to move forward."

Not exactly an unequivocal statement, is it? I liked some of the comments on that story:

In consideration for the proper amount of cash, he might be persuaded to change his mind...

Scooter for DOA Secretary!

Scotty better keep his focus on those 250,000 new jobs he's gonna create, he's already 5000 in the hole from the train debacle.

Why should Scotty pardon him? What is in it for him? Scotty does things when he himself gets something out of it. It is kind of the "play for pay". If there is no incentive for Scotty, he won't do anything. Scotty is an immature arse with a humongous ego.

Headline should read: "Walker doesn't foresee much of anything"

4. Kinda reminds me of Tommy.
I remember when he said he wasn't sold on the idea of the state taking over the Stanley prison from the private owners for 80 million. Then they made a handsome campaign contribution, and Tommy changed his mind.

Turns out he mis-spoke when he said he wasn't sold on the idea. He meant to say he wasn't bought on it.
