MILWAUKEE (AP) — Former Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle is getting involved in a national organization that will lobby for President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.
Doyle along with Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Neera Tanden, the head of the Center for American Progress, will be serving on the advisory board for the organization called Know Your Care and the lobbying effort called Protect Your Care.
They are trying to educate people about the Affordable Care Act and defend it from being repealed or defunded.
In a statement, Doyle said the effort will highlight the stories of the millions of Americans who are already benefiting from the law and show how it will benefit others in the coming years.
