"We are going to experience almost every possible type of weather event you can imagine tonight."

He seemed excited about it.

The weather is where the ratings are at!! Imagine: Blizzards!! Floods!! Hail the size of Volkswagens!! Look outside... it's raining Frogs!! It's all happening tonight!! Now this is must see TV!!

But will he mention Global Warming?? Uhm... no.

7. It's coming, I can attest...
....pretty much a blizzard in Mpls. right now. gonna continue all night and the question is how far north will the warmer air that's loaded with water make it?
when it clashes with the cold air flow coming down from Canada all hell will break loose....including thunder and lightning.

8-10 inches already on the ground, possibly another 6 overnight.
the streets are like they've been oiled, or worse.

and drivers are not being very cordial about the whole mess......

Wow, I havent seen or heard that for ages....it's exciting...

btw: The drifitng here is pretty significant....the plow were through here around 4:30PM and you can't tell...it's already drifted over the bank of the sidewalk....

Weathermen do get excited about bad weather...it's why they went into the business to begin with.........
