How can we get rid of Mark Green?
I think he's one of the worst congressmen in the country. Maybe not as powerful and dangerous as Tom DeLay, but he always does whatever the conservatives tell him to do. No need to think, just follow directions.

I know the next election is a long way off, but if we don't start now, it will be too late. If someone is going to beat him, it's going to take a lot of name recognition and a lot of money. Whoever wants to beat him must start beating the drums now.

1. I agree, he has been a rubber stamp and must be defeated.
I live in Green Bay and would like nothing better than to see him gone.

His little "Madison Liberals" tirade earlier this year made me realize he must go. Anyone that wants to split the people of my state into groups by name calling does not deserve the privilege of public office.

2. You'll have to convince a lot of people.
My parents voted for him because he represented the district well when it came to getting additional federal funding for fire departments and other emergency services. Aside from the local offices, he was the only repuke that they voted for.

3. He has plans to run for Governor so
be careful of what you wish for. I don't think Doyle will have a chance of being re-elected regardless of who runs against him.

4. I fear that's true also, although Doyle is making the hard decisions.
Somehting Green will have a difficult time defending should he chose to make a run.

5. Any ideas of who might run against him?
I'll be glad to do whatever I can in Kewaunee County. It would have to be more "behind the scenes," rather than face-time (for professional reasons), but I'd be glad to see him gone.

6. How about this from OurFuture.org?

Or this one for the Horrible James Sensenbrenner?

Apparently, they are supporting the halt of the investigation into Jeff Gannon/Guckert aka "Bulldog"

Print and distribute in your neighborhood!
