This completely sucks....that's for regular, unleaded. It was $2.23 on Saturday when I had to gas up the other car....

Thanks for the nice energy policy Uncle Dick.......:grr: :grr: :grr:

1. It was $2.25 in Madison yesterday
Haven't checked today, but I'd bet it went up again.

Glad I only have to spend $1.25 every week and a half on gas...course I used to only have to pay about a dollar!

3. Oh, but don't you know... it's the Democrats in Congress who refuse to...
... pass Uncle Dick's energy policy!

If they weren't holding things up, our Republican controlled House, Senate and White House could get things done!!

Gee, things would certainly be easier if this was a dictatorship! (as someone once said)

:sarcasm:

on the way back home from the polling station I saw the pirce has risen to

$2.39.9 per gallon

on edit: I finally did it....I dragged my 20 some year old Sanwa racing bike out of the garage and brought it down to the bike shop for an overhaul....it will be my transportation and exercise until these ungodly prices go down.....

11. It's going to be $3.75 or more as oil approaches $100 a barrel.
Don't laugh, it's economic warfare now and BFEE doesn't take prisoners on that, they just steal everything you've got that they want.
Russia and China are big players in this now.
China made a rebuffed bid for Unocal recently.
Chevron ended up buying Unocal yesterday.
It's economic warfare and we all are getting robbed.

12. It's a hoot. During last fall's election the repubs
warned that if Kerry were elected gas would go up 50 cents per gallon. I guess they wanted a dollar per gallon increase.

Just noticed my computer keyboard doen't have a "cent" key.

I have a Honda gas/electric hybrid and I have learned to get some entertainment from it. I like to gas up when it is still three quarters full and then pay in front of someone with a valdez class SUV with a 50 dollar tab.

14. They warned me that if I voted for Kerry, gas would go up
So I guess they were right. I voted for Kerry, and sure enough, gas went up.
