Is channel 4 wtmj right leaning?
It sure seems like Mike Gouisha is?He was talking about the repugs failing to get enough for an overeride of the ID Bill, and Gards commenets about Doyle needing to steal the election,I swear he was gritting his teeth.

1. Not that I've noticed
I am not a big watcher of the local news, but I have not seen it. I do question stories a lot of the channels don't cover, but he seems fairly straight.

Maybe he was gritting at Gard's comments?

Anyway, hello Gizmo, and everyone in the WI forum. :hi:

2. Probably.
They're owned by Journal Broadcast Group, who own ABC, NBC, and FOX television and radio stations in eleven states. It looks like their corporate HQ is in Milwaukee.

Journal Broadcast Group is a subsidiary of Journal Communications, who also publish the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. All told, Journal Communications owns companies involved with publishing, radio and television broadcasting, telecommunications and printing services.

That sounds pretty conglomeration-like. Hence, probably right-leaning. But I don't live in the state, so can't judge from watching. Maybe you can tell something from the Sentinel connection.
:hi:

3. Not so much the TV as the radio station.
But I've always enjoyed WTMJ more than the other TV stations.
OK, I'll confess, I've got the hots for Paul Joseph. :loveya:

4. Nah, just a bunch of fluff
I'm in the Dave Berkman camp on this subject. Just a bunch of PR people posing as journalists, failing to investigate amd report hard news.

When anyone whines to me about liberal bias on the TV news, I ask "what news?"

I don't bother to watch ANY local news shows...

7. I have to confess to being a news junkie.
I watch a ton of news 3 newspapers and of course the daily show to get the truth.
