with the ARS squadron in Milwaukee......this is going to complicate their lives a bit.....like make them travel into either Central Illinois or Lower Michigan for Reserve weekends....

"The Pentagon proposed closing three separate reserve centers in Madison - the Truman Olson and G.F. O'Connell Army Reserve centers on Park Street and Wright Street respectively, and the Naval and Marine Reserves Center on Wright Street - and relocating them to a new proposed Armed Forces Reserve Center in the city.

According to the report, Olson would lose 113 jobs and O'Connell would lose 12 jobs, while the new center would gain 48. The closing of the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center would create a net job loss of 26, according to the Pentagon."
