100 "Greatest" Canadians list...
WHERE THE FUCK IS JEAN LESAGE?!?!?!?!

ALL THESE DUMB SHITS LIKE AVRIL LAVIGNE MAKE THIS LIST, BUT THE GREATEST PROVINCIAL PREMIER NEXT TO TOMMY DOUGLAS IS NOT ANYWHERE IN SIGHT.

http://www.cbc.ca/greatest/greatcanadians/

WHAT A SHIT LIST!!!

ADAM YOSHIDA FUCKING BELONGS ON HERE MORE THAN A GOOD THIRD OF THESE PEOPLE, AND HE'S A FUCKING TRAITOR!!!!

(Oh...Needs Roy Romanow and Agnes Macphail too...And I hate Emily Murphy for being the biggest fucking drug war hawk in our country's history. It's because of this bitch that we joined the immoral War on Cannabis.)

9. Ok, what is it
about popular culture that makes people think that fame is equals greatness? Calling Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, William Shatner and Pamela Anderson great just because they are pop icons is like calling Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and OJ Simpson great Americans. What have any of them done besides achieve celebrity? Physical beauty, a little bit of talent and a damned good publicist doesn't rate greatness status.

10. At least we have some decent pop icons in our Top 100
Such as Stompin' Tom Connors and Bret Hart (Yes, you heard correctly. Too bad he's arguing for Don Cherry has best Canadian.)

12. Hurtig?
I doubt a list that doesn't even include Lesage, Macphail, or Adam Beck would include Mel Hurtig, Dalton Camp, James Laxer, Michael Douglas, and other Canadian intellectuals who blur the line behind Red Tories and NDP Wafflers.

(The biggest difference between Red Tories and Wafflers, aside from the former being quite loyal to the Crown, is that the former base their ideals on noblesse oblige while the latter base them more on leftist conviction, resulting in Red Tories taking a more 3rd way approach toward big business while Wafflers are more likely to support borderline-Marxism. I myself lie somewhere in between. It's still the same mix of social liberalism, Canadian nationalism, semi-isolationism, and Gaulliste dirigisme, although some Red Tories, particularly Orchardistas, are socially conservative.)
