bar/pub/place in downtown T.O. that on Nov 2 will be following the US elections? I'm working late that nite but i want to celebrate KERRY's victory and dance on shrub's grave! :toast: :bounce: :party:

It's been too long; I'm no use. Is http://www.grossmanstavern.com/ still the place to try? (Many many many moons ago, a buddy o' mine lived upstairs.)

But you might inquire at http://www.rabble.ca/babble/ -- the Ontario or "out and about" forums, maybe?

because the last time I was there which was also many moons ago it was really raucous which made conversation impossible.

Democrats Abroad Canada is hosting a party the night of the election. Here's the info:

ELECTION WATCH PARTY IN TORONTO!

University Women's Club, 162 St. George St, just South of Bloor, Tuesday, November 2 from 8:00 PM till......

"Don't dare to be alone on this historic occasion"

This will be an important evening for us to be together. Some of us are even coming back that evening from our assignments in battleground states in order to join DAC members and their guests to watch the returns.

- All are Welcome, bring your friends,
- Three large screen TVs,
- Snacks,
- Camaraderie, compassion,
- Cash bar,
- Champagne at conclusion
- $15 donation

We hope to see you on the 2nd!
