Those who think Stephen Harper isn't serious about saving the environment had better think again.
The Prime Minister's plan to clean up our air is not only multi-faceted, but multi-pronged and, in some cases, even multi-grained. (The government briefly considered making its save-the-environment plan multi-orgasmic as well, but abandoned the idea when it realized there are limits to what the public believes Conservatives are capable of.)
It's no wonder Harper wanted to make the announcement about this get-tough environmental program himself, instead of letting his environment minister, Rona Ambrose, take all the credit, and hog all that airtime.
Under the Harper plan, the government will not just talk about making improvements to the environment, it will talk about them a lot. And it will attempt to get even more people talking about them than have been talking about them in the past.
