Any ideas on how my state (Minnesota)

can secede from the U.S. and join Cananda? We'll even change from a state to a province.

I'd be thrilled to convert to metric and learn to speak French. I'm already used to the cold in winter (and the mosquitos in summer).

3. scour your State's constitution
Minnesota's state's constitution was written by very independent, free, Washington fearing folks.

you never know, there might be a loophole or two.

4. Long shot at best
with the House in Republican control (BUT it is just a fingernail of control) and Governor Pawlenty. But, it's worth a shot.
