So, I sent my one and only English student off to Canada last night

I took on an English student a year ago with the idea being it would give me a sense of responsibility so I wouldn't stay out so late on the weekends. All that happened is he got a lot of lessons from a very hungover teacher.

Anyway, so Bob is off to Harvey Station New Brunswick tomorrow and last night I took him and his Mom (A very old school Chinese mom) to the only Canadian pub in Beijing. There they sat eating poutine, drinking moosehead and watching taped hockey. It was pretty funny. All the Canadians in the pub had a toast to him and wished him luck, which was nice.

Not sure about Harvey Station NB for Bob though.... he'll certainly learn English if anything!
