I am now listening to radio from Toronto, and it's making me VERY happy. :7

I'm wondering though, what does Bubbles do besides feed the kitties? I've only seen the first 2 seasons so maybe he's a great musician or something? (love 'em)

Aha, your first access to CBC radio? Glad to be of service! Just avoid the dreadful Sheila Rogers in the morning ... although she probably would not be as abhorrent to a furriner used to faux. She's just annoying.

but used to faux, NEVER. Not in my house. I'm looking forward to checking out all the different feeds, like Sudbury. But am enjoying the stories on the Toronto station right now.

Right, shopping carts, but that's not much of an instrument. I suppose he could teach us all about the bearings and such. That was SO funny.

Gotta love how the Canadian media is embracing the Trailer Park Boys, when I saw Bubbles playing with Rush, I was almost in tears, not to mention Julian and Ricky getting a small cameo during the show. Good Stuff!

5. Thought it was great...

Caught it down here in the "Southern Province of California" tonight on CBC... Loved watching the guy from Trailer Park Boys and the guy from Barenaked Ladies doing backup for Geddy Lee...

We already gave to Medicins Sans Frontiers here in the U.S., otherwise I woulda donated while watching the program too...

Called UNICEF the first morning, so I just watched the show as a freeloader. Besides, I just don't intend to have any of my money going to World Vision. Can't figure out why the CBC is so enamored of it (for the first day, the only numbers CBC was putting up were Red Cross, UNICEF and World Vision), and the association with it is the bug in my Tom Cochrane appreciation.

I'm also going to be going on line as soon as I get my VISA paid up, to donate to CARE for Haiti, Sudan and Congo. I urge anybody else with spare cash to do the same, to CARE or the Red Cross or the organization of their choice for other pressing needs.
