Whatever happened to those "a part of our heritage" commercials that always used to be on?
I was thinking about it today and I realized I haven't seen a new one in years. I always liked them.

1. Funding dried up, most likely
They were originally meant as a reaction against the close-call referendum in Quebec in the nineties, and I think they were only making new ones for a couple of years. You can still see them all on Histori.ca, though.

I wouldn't have minded seeing some more of them myself. They had issues all over the place at times, but they got a lot of people noticing and talking about history.

2. They're all on You Tube too
I was showing them to my kids the other day. They saw a few in school and I showed them the rest.
