Can we get rid of Cellucci any faster?
When is he done as ambassador? Quite franky, the sooner the better. How dare a Bush fartcatcher lecture our country on the issue of national sovereignty and security - I just find that completely offensive and hostile to basically threaten our well-being and well, our freedom.
A question to those that may know about these sorts of things: Can a country that has been threatened by an ambassador from a different country demand that that ambassador leave? Immeadiatley? If not, what can we do (other than send angry e-mails) to let our leaders know that this person needs to go - NOW? Would that be considered an official act of hostility? Or is it a normal thing?

3. Keep Him Here
He is a big help.
Would never be able to get this attention on issues without this interference in politics.

4. The Canadian government can expel an Ambassador...
but that would never happen to someone like Cellucci, they would have to have committed a major felony for it to even be considered. He has done great work here in Canada if his mission was to increase Canadians' loathing of the bush administration, lol.

I wonder if his replacement will be as lacking in ambassadorial skills as Cellucci although that is hard to imagine.

7. He is a complete waste of air
I know that he is almost done, but has Canada ever had an ambassador from the states who is this terrible? He wouldn't know diplomacy if it bit him in the ass.

5. Instead of expelling him...
leading Canadians should deride and ridicule Cellucci at every opportunity. That would hurt them more.

10. uh, who said this?
I just want someone who has a better idea of diplomacy to be the ambassador. Not some jerk-off nutbar. But thanks for making my post seem ridiculous.

11. Ease up
He said, "Canada is giving up it's own sovereignty" and "We'll fire missiles over your country whether you like it or not."

The only thing making your post ridiculous is your indignant meter being set on overdrive.

I was speaking tonque in cheek.

12. ok
I tend to overstate things at times, as you can see. It was just one of those times when you need to get it off your chest. Sorry for freaking out.

9. Nah! Keep him....
Cellucci gets our otherwise stodgy dander up. Which we need if we're going to butt heads with the current administration.

I just hope Martin signs off all his phone calls with a "F*ck you, Cellucci", whenever they talk.

13. He's a good representative of his government
He just "doesn't understand" why we don't want to embrace the wondrous missile shield. Of course, the current US government doesn't understand ANYTHING about any country on Earth. So, Celucci is merely parroting the attitude of his employer.
