Parrish, Liberals still on outs

A maverick MP will not be returning to the Liberal caucus, an aide to the Prime Minister said Friday.

“He's not even entertaining the thought of welcoming Carolyn Parrish back to the caucus,” Marc Roy said.

The independent MP has made headlines recently for her criticisms of the country's top military officer, General Rick Hillier, for calling terrorists "murderers and scumbags." She said the comment was an unfortunate echo of the black-and-white mentality of the U.S. military.

She's probably the closest Canada has to George Galloway, although not as eloquent
