1. A dreadful pointless tragedy
The picture of the body of that poor woman lying dead under a blanket next to her Co-op shopping bag was particularly poignant

My heart goes out to the families of the victims.

May they rest in peace.

2. A deeply saddening and, I fear, an unpreventable tragedy.
My thoughts are with the families of the victims - who, ironically, include the family of Derrick Bird himself.

3. So many innocent people dead,
and horribly, because of one man with a grudge. There isn't much one can say in such a situation.
