Anti-religious protestors occupy London Stock Exchange
http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/anti%11religious-protestors-occupy-london-stock-exchange-201110284478/

A GROUP of anti-Church of England protestors has taken up residence in the London Stock Exchange, it has emerged.

The protestors moved in last night, forming a makeshift tent settlement, and citing their inalienable right to take their grievances to people who’ve got very little, if anything at all, to do with the thing they’re protesting about.

Demonstration organiser Emma Bradford said: "We considered a number of locations on the basis that they were entirely inappropriate to our cause, including the London Eye, the Sea of Tranquillity, the kids' ball pit at the Early Learning Centre and my mate Graham's garage. But we eventually decided on the London Stock Exchange, for the deep emotional and spiritual connection to our cause that it almost entirely lacks."

Trader Stephen Malley said of the protest: "The drumming is rather wearing but some of the girls are very attractive and I fully intend to ply them with champagne."

1. Well at least if they had done so
they'd have demonstrated they were not sufficiently daft in the head as to give at least a weeks notice of their intent to occupy a private square.

I believe they've also got posters up saying "Fuck Finsbury Square - that's LB Islington"

:sarcasm:

..........my mate Graham's garage.

2. Ha, yes those stupid protestors!
Clearly they should have set up in one of the City's many other public spaces- you know, the ones that are actually privately owned and that they've been barred from with injunctions. How stupid of them to instead set up outside an institution whose public image is honed to suggest sympathy towards the protestors' cause, and in a public square in a nearby borough (Islington) run by a democratically elected council rather than a corporate plutocracy.

Another swing and a miss from Britain's risibly unfunny Onion-imitators.
