1. Well it rules in all other cricket matches
where rain intervenes, so why not this one. Australia has been beaten by WI twice recently and now three times by England. Neither England nor Australia will win the World Cup. The new OZ players will not get it done and with Symonds out and Ponting nursing a back problem, things don't look to good for them. McGrath is finished.

Still this was an amazing comeback from England after that 5-0 slaughter in the tests. The WC will be won by one of South Africa, Sri Lanka or West Indies.

2. I expect normal service to be resumed by England

by the time of the World Cup. Still, it was nice to see the cricket team win a few games because to be honest they are good deal better than many of England's other international sports teams. They just massively underperformed in the Ashes. The England rugby team they can only win when Wilkinson is fit and our football team is simply dire.

5. I don't think I'd agree with your predictions.

We have some very good young players coming up, and still backed up by Gilchrist, Hayden, and Lee,
even if Ponting's back is still playing up, which won't necessarily be the case.

I think S.A., Sri Lanka and WI can only dream at this stage.

Now if England can keep their end up, and with Collingwood in form and Vaughan playing again, that
could be very interesting.

Edit: typo

3. It is good to see a team that has put the "gland" back into
England.
The win was well deserved.
I believe that for cricket to be strong, England has to be strong.
Having said that, prepare for a good kicking when next we meet.
Cheers.

4. Eh?
What's this about ducks? Oh, it's a cricket thing... eh, I haven't really been paying attention after NZ got knocked out - I was kind of hoping they'd win... oh well... well done Engerland.
