No postings in here since June?

Granted I have been away for a while now too, so I really shouldn't talk. ;)

Anyway, how is everyone?

I vowed I wouldn't post here again until somebody else did - all
attempts to start a discussion just fizzled out.

So - how are you, and what have you been doing all these months?

I don't blame you for not posting unless someone else did... it is so bloody quiet around here!

I have been doing good... just took a longgggggg break from online life all together at the start of last year, because I was just burnt out and going through a lot of personal shit at the time.

We've also just got a new home computer after ten days without, so all
I've had is my work computer, and I can't really stay there all night
posting. It's so good to have a new, fast computer again - I've had
to keep my DU posts down anyway for a while.

Been really hard for a lot.

And I know what you mean about new computers. LOL I so desperately need a new laptop. My old one is on its last legs, but right now, with a family to support, a replacement will have to wait. Maybe I will win the lottery. LOL

The major theme seems to be the double diss.
I heard one of the conservatives say the other day:-
"I hope Kevin Rudd has the courage to go the full term."
I think this is code for "we'll get our arse kicked in if goes the double now".
I really think the double is on. I don't know when, but it would seem to be the only to get
some vital legislation past Steve Fielding.

I am also enjoying watching Malcolm learn the hard way.

I agree with you, I think the double is on as well. It really is our only option right now.

How have you been mate?

I've been doing well, in a "life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans"
kind of a way.
We managed to elect Anna even though the 'but was she was going down.
Anna's not perfect, Labor's not perfect but she is giving it a red hot go.

Our new opposition leader who is Kate Langbroek (?) nerdy brother is giving us almost as many
laughs as SpongeBorg Squarehead did.

I am fully supportive of you and all who take a sabbatical from the net. I recommend it.

Maybe we'll fire up when something happens.....I think we are watching events in the US
and are dumbfounded. They can't seem to decide whether to put the gun in their collective mouth and
pull the trigger or just keep blasting away at the feet.

At one point I did half-heartedly get Lithos to agree to come to this forum and get a bit of a discussion going about whether we're a classless society or not, but I got busy and it fell by the wayside...
