Dem Leadership--Speak to Us
If anyone involved with Kerry's campaign or the DNC is reading this, give us our marching orders. What can we do to help?

1. Probably already out of the country on vacation.
Good luck to them in their contacts with people overseas.

2. There is no Dem leadership....
...at least none that we want.

Bill Clinton won in 1992 and 1996 because he was Bill Clinton, not because of any Democratic leadership. This party is run by hacks, and it's time to run the hacks out of town.

Aren't you glad that we put up the "electable" candidate? Look how "electable" he turned out to be. TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK DOES NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. Playing nice doesn't work. This current party leadership doesn't understand that.

Tom Daschle got what he so richly deserved. He sold us out to the Bushistas for four years. I'm glad he got bitchslapped.

Howard Dean was 100% right. Let HIM start leading the party...let him work with people like Barack Obama and let's see what we can do to a) communicate better what progressivism is and why it benefits everyone; b) get young people and minorities involved. That's job one, and it starts today.

3. Look I'm angry too...but let's see how they handle this one. Don't give
up yet. We have many more organizations and groups on our side than we had in 2000 when it was just the DNC/DLC who caved. Howard Dean is still there...he has influence...so do all the bloggers and GOTV, Michael Moore and Move On.org.

We have to keep the pressure on Kerry....They will help.

I agree with what you say Hackwriter...about the new Progressive Movement...but let's just hold a breath a bit longer... I have to do that or I will be in pieces on the floor today.

10. OK, new party leadership:
Michael Moore, Al Franken, Howard Dean, and the founders of MoveOn.
What the hell, those are the people with balls and they can't POSSIBLY do worse.

11. And why is George Stephanopalous calling for Kerry to concede?
Maybe he needs to get some rest, or give it a rest.
