NO SURRENDER!!
I am SHOCKED to wake up and find people posting here that they're 'ready to concede', and that 'Kerry did the best he could'. Kerry IS NOT CONCEDING now.. WHY are people throwing in the towel?

KERRY needs to fight till the finish... FUCK GEORGE BUSH and his fixed voting machines!

IT'S NOT OVER! Stop letting Fox NEWS decide the election for you. NO SURRENDER!!

2. AMEN!
exactly my feelings - I think we will not know anything definite for a couple of days. Let's not be too quick to concede - I still smell FRAUD - BIG TIME they have done something and we need to find out what it is.

7. I can get behind that.
I think the thing that might turn this around is revelations of fraud. But the media (or Michael Moore or SOMEONE) is going to have to do their homework to uncover it. Keep the flame of hope alive.

I smell rats at work.
I hope they look into the exit polls - the voting machines - and the consistent discrepancies of about 5% Bush wins.
I think this got stolen again, and I hope Kerry hangs tough.

10. Damn Straight!
Some people may be shocked and depressed at the depths the Bush cabal has sunk to.

Temporary shock is understandable. I went through it, for a few hours.

But don't mope for too long. Snap out of it. We NEED you. This "election" reinforces the view that the will of the people no longer matters in America. The only way show that we're still a democracy is to take our country back. The only way to do that is to make SURE John Kerry is sworn in as President on Jan 20th.

Don't concede Florida. We won there.
Don't concede Ohio, we won there too.
Don't concede any state with Diebold machines or a Republican Sec. of State.

Ten million votes vanished. Where did they go?

13. at some point
the numbers just aren't going to be there. Yell "NO SURRENDER!!" all you want, but nothing will happen. A few Japanese soldiers tried that in the jungles of Philippines, Japan still lost.

14. Look at Streetdoc's numbers, everybody!
From the Washington Post's own exit polls:

Voters: 46% men 54% women

Men: K47, B52

Women: K54, B45

per 1000 voters: 460 men 540 women

Resulting in:

216.2 men for Kerry 239.2 men for Bush
291.6 women for Kerry 243 women for Bush

508 votes for Kerry/1000 votes 482.2 for Bush/1000 votes

Therefore, there is NO WAY Bush could have won the popular vote!!

http://media.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/elections/2004/graphics/exitPolls.html

We need to spread this FAR AND WIDE to all the negative press, including C-Span!!

16. exit numbers mean nothing
sorry to break it to you. We have many polls and then people vote. The last one counts, otherwise we'd just poll people and decide it that way.

17. It sounds like all exit polls were wrong
Even if there was some illegal activity, it can never be proven because all the GOP has to say is, "The exit polls were wrong, just look at the vote totals."

End of story.

18. We have not yet begun to fight!
I really cannot be persuaded by some people here on DU this morning, acting as though we should lick our wounds and crawl off into the 'bushes'. NO! Kerry and Edwards PROMISED they'd fight for us! And we're holding them to that! Concessions are a place you buy popcorn... it's NOT in my political vocabulary at this moment.
