If Kerry conceded it is because he knew that winning wasn't
an option. The man isn't stupid and he's not weak. I'm positive that he had hundreds of people studying all the options and there simply weren't any. I think it is naive to think he simply threw in the towel "for the good of the country or to appear gracious.

My gut is sick with the thought of another 4 years of * but that's what we are stuck with. I'm going to take a few days to cry into my teacup and then get back to work. I look at it this way. Bush has 4 more years to sink the Repukes. And he will. Hopefully he won't take the rest of us with them.

1. Yeah, pretty much.
If they had conceded last night, maybe. But the fact that they waited until this morning indicates that they at least weighed their options before making this decision.

I was hesitant, because I didn't see a way Kerry was going to win. So I can definately understand this call. Doesn't mean I'm not pissed.

3. It's not that... it's the SHOW of it... The Repubs were willing to put on
fake shows in order to shore up their base. Could Kerry not have spent one WEEK looking like a fighter in order to shore up the DEM base?

21. Small "c" christians had whole families whoring for their savior- theBush
Tax-exempt churches became great campaign platforms to launch the Bush christian army. So what if Bush killed 100,000 Iraqi innocents....he "liberated" them from this Earth, didn't he. Why all of the concern about brown-skinned lives, when my WHITE Christian wife's egg, that I fertilized last night, is the only human that should have the right to life?

I am an atheist, but wonder if the 7 year reign of the AntiChrist, which the Holy Bible describes as the "great deceiver", hasn't already started.

Four more years of "our god can beat up your god". Politician kids won't be dying, however. And hooray, the stock market rallies today, especially war industries, energy companies, and the pharmaceutical companies.

5. I'm angry with Kerry right now... BUT...
If you're a challenger, and you're 3 million behind on the popular vote... what do you do? I'm angry that he didnt' fight longer.. but perhaps Kerry knows and grasps how this voting went SO wrong (DIEBOLD).

7. Don't get me wrong...
I would have LOVED to see JFK stand up in front of the country and state that "We believe here is massive voter fraud and we are going to investigate it, until we prove otherwise there will be no concession"

But that statement only exists in Jeffs World.

He will. Molly Ivins said that everyting * touches turns to $hit. Our country won't be worth a damn in 4 years.

8. Remember...
That traditionally, the second term of a candidate emboldens them in their policies since they don't have to "pander" anymore, and that usually brings on the big scandals. Iran-Contra, anyone?

9. I also read an article not too
long ago that the big fight to look for now is between the moderate Repukes (although I've never seen one) and these crazy bastards. I hope they eat each other alive.

as the *CRAZIES* who today are the ones closest to Puppet AWOL.

Remember the editorials we've read about Repubs being scared of Bush, worried for the country, diplomats for Bush I and RayGun admins. encouraging people to vote Bush out? I believe there are a LOT of those people. Who knows, we might see more of the crossing over ala Jim Jeffords. Could get interesting... I'm still pissed off, but am waiting to condemn Kerry this soon until I hear more of what happened. Could be that he'll be more effective in the Senate through investigations etc.

19. I agree
but the problem is that when Nixon lied democrats had some congressional control. When Reagan and Bush lied, democrats had some congressional control. But now, when Bush lies, congress lies right along with him.

Tom Delay is going to be insufferable for the next four years.

15. Seriously people....
it's simple logic. It doesn't make any sense at all that the man would concede if he and his advisors thought there was even a small chance. As for shoring up our base by a show fight, I don't know if that would be the case or not.
Keep fighting; never stop.
Jeff

18. I agree completely...
think about the people who worked their ASSES off for this man. I don't mean to sound like Dr. Fucking Phil but it's fine to be pissed. But turn the anger to where it will do some good. At the Repukes.

20. The Bonesman gives heir to his fellow Bonesman!!!!

And now we are back to Bones!!!!!

The REAL story of this election ISN'T the Demographics of turnout. The real story is that we voted on electronic machines and the election was stolen in Ohio and Florida and our candidate isn't putting up ANY fuss!!!!!

Dammit, doesn't anyone else see what they're trying to do to Democracy. Doesn't anyone else see that this is the LAST CHANCE to make our stand against electronic voting!!!!
