I just don't believe any of it.
I don't believe hackable, non-auditable, vote counts. Just don't believe it.

I don't believe that Bush won Florida.

I don't believe that with record turn-out and increase in registered voters that the incumbent would benefit. No one gets immobilized to maintain the status quo. It's illogical.

I believe that if the challenges were not allowed to the voters in Ohio that we would be saying President-elect Kerry.

I don't believe any of Georgia's results or Kentucky's which are almost all computerized without audits.

California seemed closer than logic would permit.

I can't believe that Kerry would concede without a fight. I can't believe that a campaign with 10,000 lawyers with a fundraising campaign for a recount would just give up before the INTIAL counting has stopped.

I don't believe that Kerry will stop fighting even with a concession.

I don't believe that Bush won the popular vote.

I believe the exit polls. I believe Zogby and everyone who said Kerry would win in a landslide.

They may steal this election but they can't steal my brain's ability to reason. They can say anything they want but we don't have to believe it.

6. Hey.. maybe this is all a dream
Maybe it's a dream. Or maybe at 1PM ET, instead of conceding, Kerry is going to say, "I was going to concede..but my lawyers found good evidence to fight this vote count."

Ah hell..just wishful thinking.

7. Yep I awoke to a nightmare
It does defy logic. Some are cynical and say this is America, this is America all along. If they are right, we really need to leave. I cannot live in a land of lies. It drives me insane.

As I said to my husband,Bush lies about the weather(falling of his bike) lies about the bulge (a bad tailor?) and they lie about everything from 9/11 on up. Iraq. Everything. LIES LIES LIES. I no longer believe anything the media tells me. This is the turning point.

10. That's what I'm talking about
How in the world then is it Bush's in the state that came down to a few hundred votes before?

It doesn't make any sense.

16. Florida by Two.....
It does when you remember that Florida is split in half by two time zones..last election, Florida was called too early for Gore, and half the state went home...remember, the panhandle is devoutly Republican..this time, they got to vote, and the true numbers for Florida came in....this was predicted, though not by the large numbers as evidenced last night....

27. Nobody in the panhandle went home in 2000
They called it for Gore before the polling places closed in the panhandle but it didn't influence votes. It's yet another myth perpetuated in order to make us all complacent about a stolen election. It's illogical to think that at 7:30 to 7:45pm people decided not to vote. If they were intending to vote they would be at the polling places already and not watching TV. If they were watching TV then they wouldn't be voting.

12. America has imploded.
My disbelief lies with the voting public. This should've been a landslide. Instead, this is the America that my daughter has to inherit. People know Bush's policies - and THEY'RE OKAY WITH THAT. A Kerry concession is the end to any hope for the next four + years.

28. I am loyal DemLib, but this site is like porn...
This site is becoming nothing but intellectual pornography. How can we, the best and the brightest, wail away at what “is”, as if our childish wants will change reality.

Why don’t we 1. Admit defeat, 2. dust ourselves off, have a coffee, make love to our partners…and go out and have a great day…all the while whistling to the world that NEXT time we will do better. We must exude confidence, not dismay.

To do otherwise it to continue our destructive “group think”, entertaining any dismal thought that comes along like a teenage boy thrusting for porn.

Life is good…lets live it, and win

34. uh yah sure
I shouldn't care about a very conceivable , SECOND coup d'etat in the country that is supposed to be the most free in the world? I should just go make some cookies, look at the sunset and play with puppies? I don't think so.

Freedom can be bloody. Freedom can be an impossible fight. Freedom cannot be won with complacency, ignorance, and apathy. Freedom is won by people who do not get over injustice. Live free or die.

That's what this election is based on. Openly hackable, easily programmable computers. Children and grandmas use access. It's absurd.

I don't believe the numbers. If the numbers are not a reflection of actual voter intent then everything you wrote is incorrect.

I'm using logic and reason. You are being hostile and partisan oh and now your post is gone. Well good riddance.

29. What happened to the youth vote?
All the exit polls showed no increase in numbers for the supposed huge turnout of the youth vote. Where did they go? Why wasn't the vote "Rocked"? Were they all too busy playing playstation?

32. At this moment Rep Tom Reynolds (R-NY) is holding forth
on C-Span, chortling, and saying all he sees is a "green light in America" -- the most Republicans elected since 1936, free to do whatever they will.

No way this wasn't vile theft! And we thought, all night, that at least Kerry would expose it!

Kerry arriving any moment.
