MAJOR FRAUD IN FLORIDA?
The original exit poll shows Kerry leading in Miami 62% to 37%.

The results (uselectionatlas.org) show Kerry leading 52.9 to 46.6%

I think even the mystery pollster guy would agree that this SHIFT OF 18.7% TOWARDS BUSH is clearly outside the margin of error.

2. Somehow those machines should have been impounded
long before now

the crooks have probably cleaned their trails by now

hope we can still catch them

you can erase, but unless you replace hard drives, forensics could still find evidence of fraud

5. Spineless is right!
what is with them?

I get the feeling that they are just willing to let it go and let Bush stew in his messes in hopes that America will tire of him.

Don't they realize that Bush and co.'s goal is to enslave us all under the Patriot act.

We'll all be broke and only the very rich will have any voice after that unless we FIGHT LIKE HELL NOW!

6. Maybe the strategy was to let Bush have the White House and...
run this country into the ground so the Dems could "rescue" us. I'd like to be rescued now, thank you very much!

8. A cynical perspective
As others have noted, Kerry's win over Dean in the early primaries was as surprising as Bush's win over Kerry in the general. This could imply any number of things, but several of them are quite consistent with the present silence from the Kerry camp.

Note: I am not saying I believe this; I'm saying that if we want out of this situation we more than likely will need to do most of the heavy lifting ourselves.

P.S. Obligatory disclaimer: I am (and have been for many years) a registered Republican. I did not particularly like either of the major party candidates, and wound up voting for Badnarik (at least, I hope that's who got my vote!). I am not all that thrilled about the prospect of having Kerry as my president, but I like the idea a darned sight better than sitting by and watching democracy get her throat slit, if for no other reason than I fear lady liberty is next in line for the knife.

7. I'm elated as I've been saying that right wing hard core base is 33-37%.
I've been saying this for over 6 years based on opinion polls that I started observing about 1995 or before (this excludes opinion polls specifically related to 9-11 and patriotism).

Stealing the other 14% in 2004 is going to be hard to cover up as we're learning.

Of course those results are impossible.
