The FBI IS working on voter fraud cases, but they only seem to target democrats. Anyone hear of any republican charges or visible, active investigations?

1. Do you really expect the FBI to arrest Republicans? No way...
They work for the GOP and thier job is to carry out the commands of Commander Rove.

18. Maybe I'm idealistic, but I still believe the answer is "yes, I do expect
the FBI to be even-handed and non-partisan.

2. The republicans nailed for election fraud
Just had to give up their positions in the republican party, then they moved to Ohio and got new positions on the BushCo campaign.

4. People who are supposed to be defending us reek of HAVA monies
They are insistent that while things were bad they were not that bad due to their involvement.

They’re waiting for their next round of grants and money so they can make things even better next time.

6. This is like one of those horror movies
when the victim goes to get help from the kind, grandfatherly type and you are so relieved that someone is going to help, then you find out that the kind, grandfatherly type is in on the crime.

7. Do you have the names of any Republicans who have commited voter fraud?
If you do, I would suggest that you foward the info to the FBI, local DA's office, and your state's Attorney General. You may also want to nitify the local newspaper.

Wrong and disgusting, true, but no reason to declare the end of world as we know it. We don't need to be going out and finding excuses to panic.

11. That would be because they are the only ones being investigated.
There are no checks and balances. None.

There likely was Democratic fraud, but it was not as widespread as the Republican fraud. The MSM will never point out that there are no longer independent investigations and that will be that.

12. Used to be, fraud was a (largely) bipartisan phenom
When you had to stuff a ballot box or sign up dead voters, dems and repubs had equal access. I would guess that often, cheating on both sides cancelled itself out.

Now that the repubs MAKE THE MACHINES they have a distinct advantage.

Not to mention that machine fraud is much much harder to trace.

14. Please say "election fraud." "Voter fraud" is the Rove term
and it implies that the fraud in the election was mainly committed _by_ voters, rather than the reality, that fraud was committed _upon_ voters.

also saw a thread last week on poss arrests coming for dems in texas. as soon as all those dems are in prison, bush can tell us that the problem has been remedied, like martha stewert who is presently atoning for the crimes of ken lay.

17. Anybody see a Rove smokescreen?
I think poor Karl gets more than his share of suspicion or maybe the Republicans have found a way to clone him.

So will this give them an excuse to say that there was fraud on both sides?

Best way to tell - the echo that it gets on MSM. If this becomes a talking point on the Drudge Report, we'll know it was planted.

22. The charges are for the 2003 MUNICIPAL election !!!
The Indiana charges - more details here: http://www.indystar.com/articles/6/201199-5156-127.html

"The arrests resulted from an investigation by the Indiana State Police and FBI of voter fraud during the 2003 election."

And the Dem party chairman is "accused of offering to illegally deliver absentee ballots cast by two Anderson residents." Jeez, they go and fry the small fish, while the sharks just keep swimming......

23. Ohio-RadioTalk Host promoted mailing ltrs to Dems to Vote Wed
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 08:32 PM by JunkYardDogg
This was a topic early this week but sank
There was a Radio Talk Show Fascist (maybe Ohio) who, on his show,
advocated and promoted his Listeners to Send Phoney Letters to Dems-
Afro-Americans in low income areas- letters on official looking (faux-there's that word again) letterheads telling them that due to the large number of voters- Tuesday was the day the Repunks voted and
Wed was the day for the Dems to vote-
Whoever posted that, let's get it back up and flood the FCC (Powell Jr.-another worthless Lucky Sperm) with complaints
and let's press for his indictment-Conyers, FBI etc because this was actually done- it could easily be prosecuted as a conspiracy-
The Talk Show Host and X-numbers of John Does
He and the Radio Station can very easily be sued- it shouldn't be too difficult to find people who received these letters-
This was way more than a prank
If Howard Stern can be fined for talking about sex between consenting
adults and body parts- than that guy belongs in prison
This is something which WE-DU members can actually accomplish
