Whatever happened with the New Hampshire Recount?
Did the votes end up matching or not matching the exit polls?

1. yeah
more or less...but I always thought that was a horrible state to try to make a "statement". I believe Republicans rigged battleground states, not states like New Hampshire.

It wasn't a serious recount; only a few precincts were looked at; and they were poorly chosen. The precincts looked at used optical scan counters and unlike thousands of precincts around the country with indications of irregularites; these had no such indications. I guess they were chosen to see if optical scan equipment in well run precincts count accurately.
There were no indications or allegations of fraud in these precincts that i'm aware of.

2. Votes = election results but...
The votes were the same as election day results, case closed. Of course if machine rigging occurred, the real results wouldn't show up. that's why all the machines need to be inspected.

3. I thought
talking to my who lives in NH.. registered independent but voted dem this year. The reason for calling a recount in NH was to prove, that with a paper trail, there were was little to no fraud at all.

When there wasn't a trail to follow, the vote swing for Bush was huge.

NH was proof of point of paper trail, little to no mistakes, without one.. huge numbers and percentages came out in favor of Bush.

? correct me if I am wrong, but I think that was Nader's intent
