Wasting recount efforts?
In OH and NH, etc. instead of just doing the hand recounts, the opportunity should be taken to look for evidence of fraud. Forensic evidence, like ballots in Wood County with ink that hasn't been dried for 42 days, that kind of thing. Statistical evidence, like cooked numbers that would get any corporation audited, that kind of thing.

They've had a month and a half to cover up any misdeeds. But they've been shown to make mistakes. Let's look for the right mistakes, and not just the smoke in the mirrors.

1. Doesn't the letter that Kerry sent request that some of those things be
done in OH? I thought it did. I have not seen a copy of the letter, though, if one is available. I think the quest for a copy of the letter may have gotten forgotten for the moment, with all the other things going on here yesterday.

2. Can't find the letter, but read it yesterday.
It asked for things like statistically sound precinct samples, and other things which indicate that they are giving good thought to fraudulent activities, instead of just asking for a recount. But I don't think it pays a lot of attention to the possibility of cover-ups since election day.

3. The recounts will help uncover evidence. W/O recounts there will be NO
investigation. So you have to do one to get the other going.

4. Agreed.
I'm just saying let's not waste the opportunities we have by not spreading out the net as wide as possible.

5. Agreed
This thing is playing out exactly as I had hoped. There was a lawyer on here several weeks ago that predicted the chain of events that have come to pass-namely the petition for a restraining order against the Ohio electors.

The blatant voter intimidation was a smoke screen, the same type they used in Florida in 2000 to disguise the real fraud. Our people payed attention, close attention, and did not fall into that trap. I would not be surprised if we had informants in place well before this election took place.

Roll over...I don't think so.

No Retreat No Surrender

7. How about Ohio being a smoke screen for Florida?
They were both stolen, but we were told before the election that Ohio would be the story. We need/ed efforts in both states (as well as NM, NV, IA, etc.) to really uncover this thing. I'm just hoping that IF Ohio turns, then nationwide investigation will take place. Otherwise, we'll be facing the same thing in 2008 no matter what.

8. Hmmm. A second thought.
If "they" had preprinted ballots waiting ahead of time, it would also account for the cases where there were under/overvotes. They just swap out their custom made ballots with the originals, and report their custom made numbers. We could check for ink that is OVER 42 days old. We could also see how many empty ballots were ordered/printed -- If twice as many exist as what are accounted for, then it would raise eyebrows. Should be able to get an FOIA request for that...
