Calling Elizabeth Edwards

I realize you are going through a very difficult time right now, but I'm hoping you're still reading DU.
For those of us who feel like something was stolen from us (again) and have lost our faith in this country, where are your husband, and more importantly, John Kerry?
If they think we're nutballs then they owe it to those of us waiting on the exposure of the "events" in Ohio to tell us it's over. If they are on board then they need to lead the charge. Time's running out.
Anything you can add to this ongoing discussion?
Please understand that I ask this not in anger, but with the utmost respect for you and your husband; God knows America deserves you and the Senator after four years of the Cheneys. It's just that the discussions on DU are like a bunch of people arguing over supposed smoke signals from the K & E camp. I thought I'd just go to someone who might have an inkling. I truly hope you're feeling well enough to be hanging around DU.

I thought she might be checking in here and that her email is probably overloaded.

I'm sure they are monitoring things even more than we are. I trust that they want to make sure every vote is counted--even if it doesn't change the outcome.

According to my TV guide John and Elizabeth Edwards are going to be on Charlie Rose tonight. Here we get Charlie Rose on PBS at midnight EST.

Would be vastly appreciated.

Am I shamelessly manipulating? You bet. Do I believe what I said? You bet. Am I speaking Rumsfeldian? Yep.

I heard she and John disagreed on the likelihood of fraud, i.e. that she was more inclined to believe it.

But really, Mrs. Edwards has enough to deal with right now--I don't know how she made it through the last days of the campaign. Amazing.

Teresa thought fraud was more possible than John? Where did you here that? Cool!

Here are two quotes from Elizabeth and Teresa that make it perfectly clear why women should be the politicians.

SEN. John Edwards' wife: "Women need to have their voices heard in politics. Women are traditionally chaos managers. We're the ones always called in to do the clean-up. That's why we must have a political say as to how the dirt should be made."

SEN. John Kerry's wife: "The job of a political spouse is to say, 'Hey, idiot . . .' It enables the partner to remind the person of who they are — or were — and of the sudden discrepancies of that person's inner core. You have to be able to say to them, 'You didn't used to think like that.' "

You have to love it!

It was just a message in case she's still reading DU. I don't want to burden her, but it's not a difficult question to answer.

i can't ... it was in conjunction with *pre-election warnings of blackboxvoting fraud issued to Kerry (who dismissed them out of hand) and his wife (who thought them more credible)...

the information overload in the past 6 wks has just obliterated what used to be an almost "computerized" memory in this little brain.

I like the both of them even more now, and they were always ace in my eyes.

for a long time. I'm glad somebody finally did it. It would make the world of difference to me to know that they know we are trying to expose election fraud. I'd love some words of wisdom whatever they are.

If you feel like it, Mrs. Edwards, we would love those words of wisdom.
