3. The lesson is... by any means necessary
God bless Greg Palast, but one thing that's become crystal clear to me today is the Republicans play by one rule and one rule only --"by any means necessary."

It will make zero difference to whine about the unfairness of the voter suppression of this election, about the corrupt Diebold machines -- who cares? No one will be held accountable or go to jail for these tactics.

Why?

Corrupt Ohio and Florida secretaries of state, corrupt Attorney General of the United States and the corrupt Bush admininstration all truly have each other's back.

Republicans embrace tactics that include things decency would cause most people to blanche at. Ironically, screwing the American people is the one area where these folks excel at planning an exit strategy. They've always, always got a great strategy to make sure the dirt doesn't stick to them.

Democrats seem to have a choice now. Continue to take the high road or get down in the muck with the lowest of them?

7. Palast is right on the mark!

Why aren't we pushing this!

It is the truth!

I am listening to him and saying, Yes! Yes!

He is saying that the media stopped doing the exit polls at a certain point.
Why did they do that?

They did it because the heard from Rove to stop doing the exits because Kerry was ahead!

It is true, he made plenty of sense.

It explained how they stole this election in Florida and in Ohio.

8. Yep, here we go again
And it will make NO difference. Shrub will remain the resident -- the days of Woodward and Bernstein being championed by the Washington Post are over. Nobody gives a DAMN.

(Sorry to be so pessimistic. I'd love to be proved wrong.)
