I have one question that someone needs to PLEASE answer!!
I don't get it. I am 54 and in my life time I have never seen a turn out like the last 2 weeks. People waited for hours to vote. How the hell did we only come up with 112 MILLION voting?
I heard it was 104 MILLION in 2000???

9. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference
In the book, the answer to the Great Cosmic Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything is 42.

Which of course has the characters off to find out what the question is.

I highly recommend the book, by the way. Adams was a brilliant satirist.

12. Of course, the question turned out to be
"What do you get when you multiply six by nine?" which in the book is supposed to indicate the universe is fundamentally flawed.

The joke is on the author, though, since 6 x 9 = 42 in Base 13.

RIP Douglas Adams

15. Uh, don't you think you shouldn't spoil the book for folks who
haven't read it?

There was a reason I didn't put that in.

16. Nah.
They won't read it anyway.

And even if they do, by the time they get there, they'll forget about it. I've read the books probably a dozen times all the way through, and knowing how the story goes never detracts from Adams' humor.

3. Here's what I think
My wife and I went to the polls before they opened at 7AM because we live in Florida and "expected" turnout to be high and we wanted to make sure we could vote.

As we "expected", there was a long line and it still took us 90 minutes to vote. Many people saw these long lines and reported in the "early" Exit Polls that turnout was huge.

I went back by my polling place at lunch time and there wasn't a soul there. Ditto at 6:30.

I think everyone had the same idea as us and went early, making the turnout look bigger than it really was. In the end, more or less, the same number of people voted.

6. Where I voted there were lines until 7:00 PM.
People reported all day lines all over the place so I'm sure there was a mix. It would be interesting if someone looked at the raw records (check off of those who voted) in a few randomly selected places and compared them to the vote totals. It DEMS are claimed to have turned out in the same number this time as 2000 than we KNOW its bogus.

Just remember:

Corporate America controls the media and we get manufactured news.
Corporate America now controls the voting machines and we get manufactured elections.

5. More importantly...
How did * LOSE by 500,000 in 2000 and WIN this year by 3.5 MILLION?

Do you smell that? Smells like fish.

11. Supposedly Karl Rove determined that 4 million Evangelical
Christians did not vote in 2000 and he was working on getting them to vote. And he did.

10. Two scenarios, both bad
If they stole the election, they did it skillfully enough that they can probably do it again, and again.
If they won it legitimately, then it is a sorry statement of the character of the nation.
In either case, * and the repugs in senate and house may assume their agenda has a popular mandate, which it lacked over the last four years. Stacking the supreme court is a given.
Bad news.

13. The 112M is misleading since that pertains to only the ballots
counted and doesn't include, provisionals, absentee or the millions that were not counted for one lame reason or another. Some estimates as high as 6M were trashed.

17. Just thinking here,???
in a sad mood for the past two days, now.

Something just popped in my mind's eye...

There may be a very simple answer to pleading our case...
"Our Votes Were Stolen"

Case in point:

Whenever, Wherever,I went out to vote
I have always, stood on a line under a letter that begins with the first "K" letter of my last name.

When, I was the first on said line... I was asked for my name ...
Always, there was some sweet, little older person sitting behind a long low table.... And there was this large dark book, where this older nice person would Look-Up may name.

A few seconds later ... low and behold

There was my name, address, etc.,etc. Plus, my John Handcock.

Then I would be asked to sign "In"

The book person, would then check both of my John Hancock's to see if they matched. With this done, the same book person would look up at me and smile............ then gave me a card or something, and pointed to the black booth where I could vote.

Hope you are still with me....

As I tried explain my case, I am pointing out ... "The Sign Book"
"Everyone who voted"

Now everyone has to sign that big book, right??

OK now, when all the polls were closed and they start to count up the votes. When all was finished, they gave us their numbers (low count, ditched many of our votes) Folks, we had a unbelievable landslide, We were demanding a change.

My point here is ... The Big Sign In Books.

We still have these Big Books, they don't throw them away, they are saved for the next time.

All the people who went to vote, "had to sign in" to vote.
right?

OK, now we have everyone who voted yesterday,
the males and female, old and young, the races, etc., etc.
That is if we go back to those books and count.. All the closing Polls were right .... this will explain everything. Our young new voters did turn out in full focus, God bless them!

We would fine out, just how many people vote, how many Dem's and how many replugs.... This will tell the world how many really voted and the correct the number of the ones they told us who vote!! Compare numbers... fine out the truth.

I'll bet my bippy, the numbers we were told today,(re:how many people voted) there will be such a wide of a difference. Numbers lie... Figures never lie!

How will the evil doers explain where are ALL the LOST Votes went..
Well I think if this sound silly to you all, I'm getting soft in the head or finally in melt down.

Please forgive me for making an old fool of myself... hee, hee.

Later,
wimaow
