How we can win by redistributing the population of dems:

We all know how many excess votes kerry got in California and New york,
at least several million. Now how about we get half of them to move to all those red states with tiny populations...say about 6 months before the election.

hell even the county I live in in California has more people than lots of these red states!!!!

Distribution is based on census numbers. So we'll all need to move by 2010 for the 2012 elections!

Move 10-20 million from red states to Cal/NY. Increase our number of electors and reps and DECREASE THEIRS

It would take more than 6-months though before......it would have to be real migration with investment to area.....

IT WOULD ALSO WORK...and could be fully funded by us RICH BLUE STATES...and the RED STATES COULD DO NOTHING TO STOP IT.....

in fact..u could start WHOLE NEW TOWNS.....or take over DYING ONES...

It may sound ridiculous....but to swing Ohio permanently....liberals should take over the City of Toledo and Lucas Country...

You can buyup Toledo for nothing...and buy huge .....i MEAN huge homes on the river that cost 600,000K and in Cali or NY would be way into the millions...

Also Downtown Toledo can be rehabed for nothing also, but if you could get 50,000 liberals to confirm to move to Downtown Toledo you would make a very big dent.

This needs to be well organized similiar to what the Libertarians hve been doing with their move to New Hampshire movement to make a state more libertarian.

It would work....and I would recommend it primarily be tech oriented.... Turn downtown Toledo into a major tech hub....u could also attract alot of people from Ann Arbor/Detroit and Chicago. U can knock down a few old buildings in downtown Toledo and make a great central park effect. Downtown TOledo has already had a major boost over the past five years, a new Mud Hens Stadium, and bars etc... Also alot of warehouses are being converted to CONDOS.

Also for those want luxury...MOVE INTO THE OLD WEST END...talking huge old homes that need rehabing right next to the TOledo Museum of Art. Make it your legal residence but live in Cali...wateva... but this idea si very good. Truly take over the place..... Bring NEW DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP TOO.

LOBBY VC FUNDS IN SILICON VALLEY TO START BUSINES HERE WITH CALI/EAST COAST HEADS...fact is...if your looking for peace and focused place...u will not find a better place than here to focus and get the job done.

Because most of silicon valley and the tech economy is Democratic oriented....pick a truly depressed City like Toledo where you can buy it up and take it over.....revive life into it....and bring 50, 100K, 200K people here....NO JOKE.

fundies and wingnuts are the sort that don't like being in the minority. so when enough blue state people move to the red states, the republicans will probably up and move somewhere else.

i feel the same way about joining the republican party. if you want to destroy it, take it over from within.

A couple hundred thousand of us could move from red states to close states like NM, NV, CO and AZ.
