2. Very upsetting!!!!! Watch the Republicans try to lock those doors!
Where, exactly? I heard something about Franklin County (Columbus); what about Cleveland?

Supposedly the polls with the longest lines are the Electronic Voting kind... :eyes:

7. Paper and pen would make sense
Just print out a ballot than can be marked and read. They could be on their way home in 20 minutes.

I hope he is on top of this development. They interviewed him earlier in Cleveland.

12. Columbus/Franklin County: 3 machines per precinct
At least at the 4 precincts I saw. They were enforcing a 5-minute time limit on a huge ballot. There are people still standing in line right now (close to 8:30 as I type), because if they made it into line by 7:30, they're still allowed to vote. Average wait time throughout the day was about 2 hours. Lots of people stuck it out in the cold rain, but I also saw some turn away ... couldn't stand up that long, had to get to work....

And, this is worrisome ... there were signs up saying that votes would only be counted if they were cast at the correct precinct - including provisional ballots. But there were two huge lines at each polling place I visited, and no clear direction about which one people needed to be in. It wasn't uncommon for someone to stand in line for an hour before realizing they were in the wrong line....
