Some questions
I'm starting to get a little confused with all these legal actions. How many lawsuits have been filed now, and where? Are any of them state court filings or all in federal court? If federal, which district? Has John Kerry yet, or will he be, filing a lawsuit as a plaintiff or has/will he be only intervening in the Moss v. Bush (right?) Cobb/Badnarik lawsuit?

I've been trying to keep up but my head's starting to swim. These things are pretty simple up here where we only have four state districts and one federal. It sounds little more complicated in the Lower 48.

Thanks.

1. It Is Complicated. Come Monday, Things Will Be More Clear
For now, start by reading this:

2. Questions, questions.
How many lawsuits have been filed now, and where?

There are a number of suits in connection with the
election ... I can't give a comprehensive list.

But here is a litigation update from electionline.org.

Are any of them state court filings or all in federal court?

Moss v. Bush is a suit in state court: the Supreme Court of
Ohio.

If federal, which district?

The Cobb/Badnarik lawsuit is in Federal court, I think
it's the Southeastern District of Ohio.

Has John Kerry yet, or will he be, filing a lawsuit as a plaintiff or has/will he be only intervening in the Moss v. Bush (right?) Cobb/Badnarik lawsuit?

John Kerry has not so far filed a lawsuit as plaintiff.

He is an intervenor in the Cobb/Badnarik lawsuit concerning
the Ohio recount. He is not associated with Moss v. Bush.
