This weekend, I'm going to be stealth just like Kerry
This weekend I'll be spending time with a mostly republican in-law family.

Will talk about election fraud?

Will I talk about how there might be a big event on Jan 6th, and (according to Break for News) Kerry might unconcede?

Me thinks I can learn something Kerry. In some cases it's better to work behind the scenes as a stealth bomber and not expose yourself to too much attention.

I think I'll just snicker under my breath when I hear any political discussions going on. And every evening when everyone goes to sleep I'll flip on my laptop and hop on the stealth bomber.

Gary

1. I was just wondering the same thing myself.
Next week, my brother and family are coming out here for our Wisconsin Christmas. My sis-in-law is a MAJOR Freep, Fox News Junkie... and she always argues to the death. No room for discussion, she jumps in and berates any opposing view (no surprise there, eh?).

Anyways, I thought "what a time for all this to break open!" At least they're staying at a motel, and I'll be at my parents' computer every night!

Other than that, the notion of "lying low" is probably a good one. Just let the news break, and let them squirm.

14. Yes, with family and friends.
Even though we're having "little Christmas" this year, I've discovered that I'm still incredibly blessed.

Keep hope alive, Rev. Darlin', and NGU.

Happy, happy!

2. Feel your pain...
I only have to deal with a Repug bro-in-law, but he's a handful by himself...you know gun lover, god fearer, non-drinker.

Good luck to you

3. Art of War
Sec VI - Weak Points and Strong

"O divine art of subtlety and secrecy! Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible; and hence we can hold the enemy's fate in our hands."

"Knowing the place and time of the coming battle, we may concentrate from the greatest distances in order to fight."

Sec. VII - Maneuvering:

"Let your plans be as dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt."

God love Sun Tzu. Good luck with the Reds! Be vewy, vewy qwiet...

4. You are so wise!
Just like Kerry, sometimes it is better to do things quietly and behind the scenes. May you have a Merry Christmas. I know I will be snickering under the table with my repuke relatives. :silly: It will be worth it, to just let things play out and not start anything, the new year belongs to us!

6. Tell me about it
I just got back from Christmas Eve with mostly freeper relatives. I hadn't seen some of them since the election and they were taunting me of course. I only said to them that it's not over yet, some surprises will be coming soon. They looked at me like I was crazy, then I went and played with the kids in the family and had such a great time with them.

7. I continue to wear a Kerry button at all times...
either hanging from my purse or on my lapel. When someone comments and says something like, "I think you lost." I smile and say, "You really belive that?" I find that's all I need to say.

they are freepers after all. :(

The kids are great, a couple of the older ones wanted Kerry to win even though their parents are Bush freaks. :7 Smart kids!

13. Are people responding to Kerry's letter to send phonecards to troops?
I'm not sure if this is posted, but it would be great if someone could make it a major message (unless everyone knows about it). Seems support for Kerry and our troops would make a statement to him and others.

Dear________,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones enjoying the holidays. I have been thinking a lot about what our johnkerry.com community can do to mark the end of what has been an extraordinary year. We have formed bonds of friendship and commitment that I know will extend far into the future.

So, in addition to thanking you once again for all you have done, I'm writing to invite your participation in one final 2004 act of collective generosity. As a soldier, I remember how much it meant to hear from loved ones - especially at the holidays. So, I thought you and I could work together to make it easier for our soldiers serving in Iraq to phone home and hear a friendly voice.

We've found a program that does just that. Operation Phone Home is run by the USO, which has been an extraordinary friend to American soldiers for decades. The USO buys phone cards at cost and provides them to our soldiers free of charge. You can help the USO help our troops this holiday season right here:

http://www.uso.org/carddonations

In January, I will go to Iraq to see the situation firsthand and personally visit with our courageous troops who are serving America so well. Nothing would please me more than telling them that hundreds of thousands of us have expressed our thanks to them in this concrete and personal way.

Your gift can help a soldier phone home.

http://www.uso.org/carddonations

In the New Year, I will be writing you about our 2005 projects and priorities. In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this special time of year. Thanks so much for your constant acts of friendship and your special consideration of this request.

Sincerely,

John Kerry

P.S. There are 140,400 U.S. military members serving in Iraq. Any calls they make home to those anxiously awaiting their safe return are at their own expense. A gift of $100 will provide 20 soldiers with a 100-minute phone card. A $1,000 donation would do the same for 200 soldiers. Please help. A friendly and familiar voice can mean so much to a soldier serving America so far away from home.
