New bbv.ORG site up
Not much content, but the donation links are working.

I wonder how long the book graphic will stay up since it has my name on it?

It's a beef between her and the world, apparently.

Look at archives in this forum: 2004 Election Results and Discussion.

You'll get the whole story if you want it.

Here's as good a place to start as any: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=108750

Bev Harris is not who you think she is.

Are you member of the Blackfoot message board?
I just saw a post in the digest there from another Ladyhawk-
I wondered, could it be?
If so, SMALL world after all!

6. I wonder if she used the settlement money to pay for it?
Interesting that the donation links would be working first, I guess she's got her priorities!
I once tried to defend her against some long time DU'ers that obviously knew her better and longer than I did. I apologize to all. The turning point for me was when she got tombstoned here. After that, the more I learned the more appalled I became. Well, this is one TN boy who "won't get fooled again".

Many were fooled, sad to say. I am curious as to who will the next to got.

The candidates are:

Jim March
Kathleen Wynne
Lowel Finley

My money is on Lowell, so Bev can blam him for the qui tam fiasco.

15. Some people never learn
Bev bitching about DUers wanting to know how much money she scammed off them.

From at BBV new forums:

This appears to come to us by way of DemocraticUnderground, which has now turned out to be the soap opera capitol of the left. It seems that the favorite pastime of DUers is guessing how the money is spent at Black Box Voting, which rapidly devolves into accusations of embezzlement and wild spending sprees.

here. For example, here's one: http://www.democraticunderground.com/duforum/DCForumID70/1995.html

For someone who's supposedly been a potential target of a Diebold hit for well over a year she seems remarkably healthy, posting at her forum.

Meanwhile, how are the FOIA's, lawsuits and audits doing? Surely such topics are just as if not more threadworthy than chat board "soap operas."

34. can't for the life of me figure out
why they would do something like that -- I've put together several low-end websites, but even this novice knows enough to at least have something of merit in the text -- especially on the homepage.

Though..... those who come to visit in the next few days (depending on how long it takes them to upgrade) may lose interest at the lack of information.... (which is why it is pretty confusing to me... you'd think they'd want to hook them -- news flash lack of information and holder text does not bring curious people back...)

40. I find this odd...
"Consumer Protection for Elections"

We don't consume democracy, we participate in it and to that end we are citizens not consumers. It is a shift of the language that reflects the corporatization of the U.S. that serves to embed the impression that we are passive recipients rather than active participants in government.

Stuff had to be packaged and sold to idiots by creating the illusion of a need.
And yeah, you are absolutely right, it's the crux of the problem.
It's why Ukraine, Romania had new elections when fraud was alleged while we are merely trying to tinker: how much of a fraud? Bigger than a bread box or smaller?
The concept of Democracy is lost on more Murkans than I thought.
