Exit Poll Says Liberal Yushchenko Wins in Ukraine

KIEV, Ukraine (Reuters) - An exit poll in the re-run of Ukraine's presidential election Sunday showed liberal challenger Viktor Yushchenko had beaten Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich.

Yushchenko, who called vast crowds of supporters into the streets to denounce cheating in the last poll, scored 56.5 percent to 41.3 percent for Yanukovich, whose victory last month was overturned by the Supreme Court.

The figures represented 80 percent of the sample conducted by the Kiev International Institute for Sociology and the Razumkov

4. Relax....

...if the actual Ukraine vote holds to match the exit polls, it will give realtime proof that exit polls work (and re-votes). It could not come at a better time as ohio grows in the news, and exit polls become more and more discussed and debated.
