Conyers Letter to Triad asking for cheat sheets....4 pager

In the letter, displayed below and on the following pages, Conyers makes note of these "cheat sheets" which the company's president admitted to. He asserts that the sheets—which allow local officials to ignore actual ballots in the recount—"is an invitation to completely ignore the purpose of the recount law."

5. Because it's a letter to Triad, not ES&S.

4. Ohio Code cited, for you legal beagles.....
Conyers mentions several provisions of Ohio Code, which would indicate (at least to me -- I'm not a lawyer, but I've worked for lawyers) that altering the electronic means of vote tabulating must be witnessed by the Board of Elections, and must be done AFTER notifying the Ohio Secretary of State that this will be done.

To-wit:

Ohio code defines a ballot as "the official election presentation of offices and candidates...and the means by which votes are recorded." OHIO REV. CODE 3506.01.B (West 2004)

As to witnesses required when code is adjusted, see OHIO REV. CODE 3515.04 (West 2004)

The Ohio Code and applicable regulations specify that after the state certifies a voting system, changes that affect "(a) the method of recording voter intent; (b) voter privacy; (c) retention of the vote; or the (d) communication of voting records must be done only after full notice to the Secretary of State. OHIO ADMIN. CODE SEC. 111:3-4-01 (2004)

13. ...'notifying Secretary of State...'
I'm not a lawyer, either, but it seems as though they are laying the ground work for an indictment of Blackwell. Also, the part about payment for services post-election, and how was that payment made=money trail. Oh, how I love Rep. Conyers!

6. Conyers' congressional peers ( part of his intended audience)
will be hard pressed to come up with cogent reasons not to support his efforts. Loving this!

7. Well, back in Nixon's day it wasn't the burglary
that got him impeached it was the cover up. This time around it isn't the voting that will get Bush in trouble, it will be the recounting that does him in.

We're talking about a Watergate investigator! The man knows he's got something, and he's going to bring it all out.

9. This won't go ANYWHERE. - Just like the Cheeney meetings, etc.
Nothing will happen.

Conyers will get ZERO answers adn ZERO responses.

I will continue to not let my hopes up only to get destroyed again.

10. It's really startling...
...that Triad hasn't been able to come up with better answers. I, too, think that Triad is the Election Fraudsters' "Achilles heel"--they got too greedy for more manufactured votes, resulting in carelessness. That they had to send somebody in during the recount to physically cover their tracks, and had such a poor story to cover that, is very telling, when they had virtually open access to all the central electronic vote tabulation machines in the country, and had already successfully suppressed so many Democratic votes.

One big difference with Watergate is that the revelation of the Watergate coverup (the revelation that the Oval Office tapes existed, and 17 minutes of them had been erased, etc.) happened on national TV with millions of people watching. History never repeats itself, though--it's more like a spiral (as W.B. Yeats maintained)--same themes, different circumstances and actors.

We don't know how this is going to play out in THESE circumstances. We now have a lapdog news media--a mere Bush propaganda machine--but we also have a far, far worse crime that has been committed, and also a really determined and focused investigation support group in a whole new medium, the Internet, as well as a growing populace of very angry citizens who are fed up with Bush Inc. in every way, including the previous stolen election-- and we also have Bush approval ratings in the toilet. (WHAT election "mandate"?!)

It ought to be an interesting year. I hope it's a Happy one, and truly New--a fresh start for our country.

12. Question about Triad - Why?
Why would they post cheat sheets? I am unclear as to why the company would post cheat sheets since the county would have the number of ballots cast already.

Wouldn't it be easier and less risky just to instruct the counters to match the count? Wouldn't they already have the target numbers?

This is what is puzzling me. I can understand them rigging the tabulation machine but if they rig the machine, why expose themselves by posting a cheat sheet? If they rig the count, why rig the machine? What purpose does this serve?
