Jan. 6, 2005: Take action on election violations as Congress meets to certify the vote!
Congressman Conyers says he needs a million e-mails to compel the House Judiciary Committee to hold formal hearings about voting irregularities. Send a message to the committee at http://www.house.gov/
judiciary_democrats/
contact.html.
The following seven senators are some of the most progressive members of the Senate. Please call them immediately, and urge them to defend democracy on Jan. 6. Spread the word to people you know to keep doing the same until Jan. 6.

The senators can be telephoned for free by calling 1-800-839-5276, or you can contact them individually:

Sen. Barbara Boxer, (202) 224-3553, senator@boxer.senate.gov

Sen. Dick Durbin, (202) 224-2152, dick@durbin.senate.gov

Sen. Russ Feingold, (202) 224-5323, russ_feingold@feingold.senate.gov

Sen. Tom Harkin, (202) 224-3254, tom_harkin@harkin.senate.gov

Sen. Jim Jeffords, (202) 224-5141, Vermont@jeffords.senate.gov

Sen. Edward Kennedy, 202/224-4543, senator@kennedy.senate.gov

Sen. Patrick Leahy, (202) 224-4242, senator_leahy@leahy.senate.gov

3.  WAIT A SEC. I thought Conyers was pleading for public to stop sending
emails to the committee? That they were being flooded. ???

6. Right, Conyers does not want the Democratic members of the
House Judiciary committee bombarded with emails (especially sent via the webform on their website). He *does* want emails sent to Republicans on House Judiciary (Sensenbrenner, especially). Everyone on the list above is a Senator -- we do still need to write them to make sure that the election will be contested on Jan 6th.

:hi:

5. Rev. Bill Moss has been associated with HBCU...
I found a listing for him as Executive Vice President of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (don't know if it is still current).

Bill's sons (or son and nephew) may be the webweavers of the HBCU website at: <http://hbcuconnect.com/hbcuTeam.shtml>

9. Check out freepress.org later
It's being updated. Ken Blackwell is doing something to make sure that he doesn't have to testify under oath (I believe).
