OK, update but with absolutely no new information...
except that my sources are in full pester mode themselves, and assure me that as soon as they have the data and details, my phone will ring.

Sorry about this. If you think you are being tortured, attempt to imagine being me right now. Pacing the house, smoking seven cigarettes simultaneously, occasionally picking fights with the cat to relieve tension, jabbering incoherent gibberish at the potted plants, refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh...

I need someone to stick an icepick into by brainstem, like Maury from 'Goodfellas.'

I'm working on a D.Div and managed to work a John Kerry
quote into a term paper in late summer. I'm not sure how I can get vote suppression/manipulation into a term paper on christology though.

information about election fraud into lectures on Social Psychology. It may not have been a perfect fit - but I did it! The power of conformity on what we are willing to discuss in public; the personality type of whistleblowers; and the power of Groupthink on decision-makers who make stupid decisions (like trying to steal 100,000's votes in multiple states).

On Edit: A suggestion about the Christology paper.. I don't know if this is theoretical enough for you to use, but -- I read a post around here somewhere earlier this morning that pointed out to Republican Congresspersons from Oklahoma that defending the rights of all voters would be the Christ-like thing to do. Awkward paraphrase: As you behave toward the least of my people, so you behave toward me?

134. I think the post-election behavior of the media and
most voters fits quite nicely into lectures on social psychology. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in your classroom. "Escape from Freedom" by Fromm is absolutely chilling when read in 2004.

Hmmmm...upon reflection of your words I think vote fraud could be worked into this paper. LOL!

That is, after all, where you will hear the emphasis on the poor and outcast, the marginalized. Luke tells us Christ will turn the world upside-down where the mighty will be brought low (see: Magnificat).

What an intruiging thought, to write a Christological perspective on the election fraud! If I had the inclination....

Nah, never mind. I once told a friend, "If I EVER make any hints that I'm thinking of doing my DDiv (NOT a DMin!!), shoot me. Just put me out of my misery before it all begins.

Here's to you, Pacifist Patriot! :toast:

135. LOL! Yes, there are moments of misery.
My previous paper touched on process theology which ties in nicely with liberation and feminist theologies. My January 9 sermon is about process theology, perhaps I can use some of that material for this term paper. I can definitely see some christological perspective on election fraud when process theology is incorporated. Thanks for the nudge.

174. No, I'm nowhere near a UU affiliated seminary so I am going the
secular university graduate program route with a UU minister as a dissertation advisor. If I had to choose among the three I'd go Starr King though. Much better weather than M-L or Harvard. ;)

Actually, this paper shouldn't be too tough. The last one was tying in Mother Tersa with Jerry Davidson Wheatley so this ought to be a snap. The slums of Calcutta and quantum physics are a bit of a leap.

Thanks!

164. I don't understand how people can do it. I think I would need to wear
at least 3 patches. When I flew to London a couple of years ago I had to wear 2 so I wouldn't climb the walls and freak out my fellow passengers. The last time I worked in a regular office was 18 years ago, and they were just starting to impliment laws. I had my own office then so it was ok. When it came to returning to work after being a stay at home mom, I opted to start a weekend biz instead, and sold cool things at music festivals, fairs and flea markets. I then transfered that to a home business once I became familiar with the net. Believe it or not, the ability to smoke (and personal freedom) were determining factors in my career choice.

having wasted money to see Bill Murray's latest -- Something about Aquatic Adventures of Steve Zissou. The only I could think on the way out of the theater afterwards was Thank God I did not go see this on Christmas Day.

Tip of the week: If you like Bill Murray DO NOT go see this film. If you don't like Bill Murray DO NOT go see this film. The only good time to see this film would be after a major operation while still under anesthesia - no, wait, not even then.

Consider meditation for the nerves. I am trying to talk myself into a state in which I can be active, effective, and calm. I really do think that Jan 6th is a big day and we need to make *sure* there is a contest. In all likelihood Bush will be inaugurated on the 20th and we will have to be active, effective, and calm for a few more months before all hell breaks loose, the administration falls hard, and we find a way to make the Constitution work for the people such that Kerry is inaugurated a few months down the line. I've been making comments for a while now to the effect that we need to think waaaaaaaay 'outside the box'....

:-)

you can configure microsoft outlook to check for mail at a set interval, and a little envelope icon appears on your screen when you have new mail.

your email service provider probably has a help page somewhere to walk you through this.

however, please don't attempt this today until after you've posted today's news ;) and THANKS for keeping us informed!

This stuff takes work. I worked for lawyers for years, and if they aren't racing to get something filed 2 seconds before the clerk's office closes, they just don't feel fulfilled. There's a reason my hair went gray before I ever got into this business.

41. OK, so we shouldn't expect anything..
until the end of business, the day before inauguration day.

Why the heck not. Kerry/Edwards - if they ever get involved - will assuredly wait until the very last minute, or until it's too late. That way "they tried" and made good on their promise to fight for the count of the votes.

It's ridiculous. Anyone who is hanging on this guy Pitt and the actions of some Ohio attorney is setting themself up for major dissapointment.

88. Will-you have never given us any reason to doubt you!
I'LL REPEAT WHAT I WROTE IN ANOTHER THREAD:

a true American Patriot...

Thanks for helping to keep us sane and for keeping us informed! It's nice to know that there are SOME journalists out there with integrity and credibility! I'm anxiously waiting for the "Miracle on Pennsylania Avenue"!!!I believe!! "Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to." PEACE!

So-things are stressful today! So what? What else is new? I appreciate your honesty and I, for one, am tired of the belly-aching and the whining that you have been subjected to on this thread. Some things just take time! I'm not suggesting that anyone should be "happy" about it- I'm just suggesting that there are some things that we have no control over. Wait a minute- I'm reaching for a cig............
So there!!!!!

Questioning motives seems counter-productive :spank: It is of my humble opinion that we proceed in a UNIFIED manner...I've got faith in the people posting on this thread! My God- we are all here for the same reason...TO FIGHT LIKE HELL AGAINST CORRUPTION AND FRAUD and to help restore some dignity, integrity and TRUTH into our democracy! I'm fighting to restore morals and ethics by hopefully exposing the grave injustice this administration has bestowed upon its people! Anyone with me?

And finally.....Will, many thanks for your unwavering support! You are appreciated!:hi:

71. I'll second that thought and raise you a
question to CementDude -- Will is working on exposing the news that the MSM won't cover. He has been on the story for some time. He writes the articles, makes public appearances, gives speeches, offers hope and support for those of us that NEED the support, information for those of us that NEED the info, a calm voice when those of us can't think straight, a shoulder to lean on when we feel all hope has been hijacked... etc.

Just what have YOU done, as an individual to further the cause? Have you written oped pieces for your local paper? Have you made any "out in front" speeches to those that are involved in the movement? Have you done anything that can be held up as an example to others as something positive to do with your frustration? Has anyone attacked you with a can of Chef Boyardee because of your efforts? (sorry Will, I just HAD to!)

I will wait for Will's update. I KNOW what he has done and will continue to do and I appreciate every minute of it.

Thanks Will!

94. I appreciate the frustration
expressed in this post, though I don't necessarily believe that Will should have liability. Based on his posts, Will seems credible to me, not a propagandist but a legitimate informer. I find it more difficult to defend Senator Kerry, though I'd be the first to admit he may have a plan to challenge election '04 which he's keeping to himself, an opinion fairly often expressed at DU. Kerry's present silence and relative inertia with respect to election '04 is maddening, however, to those of us on the ground. Silence is certainly sometimes a virtue, but there's also something to be said for (unambiguously) rallying the troops.

47. Lawyers learn how to procrastinate at law school. They have no
examines until final examines and then they have all night cram sessions to prep for the finals. The adrenalin rush is what feeds their procrastination, they love to be on the edge, to almost be upon the date, those last minute filings (not to mention writings) that make them feel alive! :argh:

Which, BTW, their staff hate! :nuke:

119. So true so true. I worked in litigation for over a decade.
I think those attorneys are constitutionally unable to focus or write unless they are completely up against a deadline.

They would leave us an hour to type, proof, copy, correct, sign, endure their last minute changes to something, and then back to what they had before, and get it to the messenger to get to the court by 5 pm

A 45-page brief from dictation to rough draft, three revisions, a couple of inches of exhibits to be marked and copied and the whole mess to be filed and served on three other attorneys before 4:30. No electronic filing. URGE - TO - KILL!!!

This is why these days I'm a legal transcriptionist working out of my home at my own pace with no pesky attorneys to deal with.

Also much easier to drop in on DU without getting "caught."

48. So that clip I saw of you
once on Freespeech TV with you addressing a crowd from a stool (smoking!) really was you? I can't remember the occasion, since I didn't know who you were at the time, but your manic energy really projected well as I recall. You were hitting the bushies hard, too, and I loved that part. Sorry for the repeated smoking references, but I am a Californian. The most depraved behavior is ho-hum to us, but SMOKING???? :-) Appreciate all your efforts!

He expounds at some length and gives the text of the Kerry lawyer's statement. The DU thread where this KO blog installment is being discussed is here:

I would especially like to hear Will's reaction to this, how much he agrees with KO and what alternative opinions he may have.

92. OK...so I'm repeating myself...

You are appreciated!:hi:

know I've been chopping onions and peppers for an hour and that's gotten my agressions out...but I've kind of lost what it is I'm waiting in anticipation for? Is it Kerry's filing? Didn't he do it with Cobb by e-mail on Friday? Or, was he going to do a separate filing today...or is it a full lawsuit and not a "filing in support."

What about New Mexico..Cobb Website says they've been blocked by NM Supremes from a recount unless they come up with the Million...which is illegal. Where does Kerry stand on this? Does he need to come in and take it to Ohio Federal District Court and then up to US Supremes? Where's the help from Richardson on this?

Where are our Dem Leaders in Ohio on this? Why isn't anyone making a huge stink about this?

Maybe I'll just chop more peppers or chase my cats...

I'd call but it is your scoop. You deserve the credit. I'm just a lawyer; it would do me no good.

I'm also a bit confused if there are two cases or one. Toledo and Columbus. Read something that said Cobb intended to file in Toledo.

But I got this case number off the counter-claim filed in the Southern District.

DAY OF INFAMY 2001
Rumsfeld says 9-11 plane
'shot down' in Pennsylvania
During surprise Christmas Eve trip, defense secretary contradicts official story
Posted: December 27, 2004

WASHINGTON – Ever since Sept. 11, 2001, there have been questions about Flight 93, the ill-fated plane that crashed in the rural fields of Pennsylvania.

The official story has been that passengers on the United Airlines flight rushed the hijackers in an effort to prevent them from crashing the plane into a strategic target – possibly the U.S. Capitol.

During his surprise Christmas Eve trip to Iraq, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld referred to the flight being shot down – long a suspicion because of the danger the flight posed to Washington landmarks and population centers. <snip>

Found this on drudge of all places.

157. Re Rummy's slip o' the tongue....
I think he got the reason for the crash right (shot down) but named the wrong culprit (terrorists). My suspicion is that our military shot down the plane but for PR reasons denied it. Then, when the recorder was found, it became all the messier to admit who shot it down because one of the last things on the tape was the passenger saying "Let's roll!" What if the passengers were about to take control of the plane when the US military shot it out of the sky...yikes.

There was a 911 dispatcher who took a call from a passenger aboard flight 93 at about 9:58, a few minutes before the plane went down. He reported seeing smoke. I'm not sure, but I think he also reported hearing an explosion. He was locked in the bathroom when he made the call. The dispatcher was later given an award for his heroics on that day, though I'm not sure what is heroic about taking a call. His supervisor got on the call, too, listening in after being alerted by the original dispatcher that a hijacking call had come in. The FBI put a gag order on these folks. The passenger's name was Edward Felt.

If it's true that President Bush gave the order to shoot down planes that day (as Cheney said on a news interview show), and if there was indeed a plane shot down and we (and the 911 Com.) were lied to about that, isn't that a tad more reason to undertake impeachment proceedings than is, say, a stained blue dress?

169. Could this be it???
"It is a truth that a terrorist can attack any time, any place, using any technique and it's physically impossible to defend at every time and every place against every conceivable technique. Here we're talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filled with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center. The only way to deal with this problem is by taking the battle to the terrorists, wherever they are, and dealing with them."

The damage to the Pentagon is totally inconsistent with a 757 flying thru a tiny spider hole, and then vaporizing without leaving any recognizable debris.

But totally consisent with a missile, and Rumsfelds "slip" (for the Bushitler administration, slips are when you tell the TRUTH)

173. Are we sheep?
I agree, after having read up on what is available on the internets, that there are too many inconsistencies between the official stories and what a few people have reported and found.

Many people were probably aware that there were conspiracy theories about what happened on 9/11. I was also, but I didn't take it seriously until about a month ago. I'd also heard about election fraud in 2000 but didn't take it seriously until this time around.

We Americans, collectively, are indeed compliant sheep to have accepted what we have been told, on 9/11 and after both elections. The alternative, that people in our own government are doing this to us, or allowing it to happen for their own purposes, is still too horrific for most people to accept. And anyone who is not questioning what has happened is effectively part of the problem, reinforcing the belief in the official stories.

I don't know that the mass hypnosis media are so much leading the cover-up as being complicit partners of it. I would not be surprised if only a few people are at the source of all this. Perhaps not even Bush really knows what is happening (or worse, perhaps he does). There are some who know more about what really happened than others, of course. Some are more willing to ignore or slight the inconsistencies more than others.

But not enough of us (yet) have been skeptical enough about what we have been told, to gather contrary evidence, and to communicate to one another and eventually achieve critical mass so that we might awaken the masses. What can we do to gain that critical mass?

Maybe we are on the way now, in this democratic underground, and many other places around the internets. But it seems to be moving so slow... .. .
