Let the Bullets Fly from Our Fingers...Who is with Me?

Wake up DUers...This election is tainted and we MUST label it as such.

We need to put a "fly in the ointment," and watch the fly grow and Bush continues to fail.

We all know how to do this. We've done it many times before.
We have friends in the media, a few but important standard bearers. Then there are the bloggs...We all know how to do LTEs, which should be flying like bullets from our fingers.

Unless we are too lazy, tired, or depressed let's bring it on!

Anyone interested, contact me. If we can't "win" we can label the Bush "victory" for the fraud that it is and not to do so I think would be unethical and undemocratic.

I was appalled that supposedly a lot of independent and dem moms joined the sheep stepford wives and voted for Chimpy. According to a couple of reports I've read it was terrorism and safety that swayed them.

I just held my daughter and cried Tuesday morning when I realized we'd been cheated out of it again. She could lose her rights as a woman, and what happens if she is a lesbian? She'll be a second class citizen and folks will have the legal right to discriminate if the neo-cons have their way...oh and then if she's not a lesbain she gets the joy of being potentially drafted into one of Chimpys Wars of Choice (tm) not to mention if she is raped someday and becomes pregnant, she'll be forced to endure the mental torture of carrying her attackers child for nine months...the possibilities are endless and absolutely terrifying. Those moms who voted for Chimpy were dead wrong -- if they indeed voted for him.

I'm building a Web site this weekend and over the next couple of weeks I'll be adding content and information to it. I launch on Dec. 5 and my goal is to connect with democratic moms and moderate moms on these issues and more. And I plan to hit on the fraud. We'll see how it goes. I'm currently scoping out funding. But, it didn't take me long to decide I can't just make a few phone calls and send a few emails and cast my useless red state vote. I have to do something to reverse this by 2006 and 2008. Or my daughter will have to grow up in a foreign country -- that by then should hate us completely.

Aside from recruiting a friend or two I knew from my journalism days to help out with some publicity, financing etc., DUers are the first people I've told. My husband doesn't even know. He thinks being and activist is a bit overboard and I figure when he finds out, he finds out. So, the approval is appreciated!

Townhall - I call Townhall an umbrella website showing and exposing right wing organizations and foundations with links. Townhall does other things as well, but it directs peoplpe. (It's run by a right wing lawyer who was key in the character assassination of Clinton - talk about stealth tactics).

Anyway, I think there should be an umbrella website for dems - linking to DU, BBV, Palast, Moore, Chomsky, 9=11, corporate watches, or whomever/whatever - with an emphasis specifying what they focus on. In other words, a source for dems and new dems.

Evidence. Probable cause. Something like the 16,000 negative votes in Florida that led Gore to concede. Something like this:

There is some suggestive evidence, like exit poll analysis, which are a start but need a fuller account to be convincing. Also some very local reports, like the machine on which a straight Democratic ticket produced a vote for Bush.

But what we go to the media with must be large enough to suggest it could swing Ohio or Florida, have compelling enough evidence to make skeptics listen, and also have a persuasive enough story around it to explain why innocent explanations are incorrect.

This is very important. Going off prematurely or making unprovable claims of fraud will result in subsequent stories which may be quite persuasive getting the cold shoulder.

I'm looking for the best stories supporting fraud. As a start, I'm waiting for the Greg Palast article this morning.
