Just before a recent local rally we had, our coordinator was talking about not bringing too much focus on a low turn out if that indeed occurred. He explained that when he showed up early to a rally, he saw one lone protestor standing on the corner holding his sign. It was very powerful. A half hour later, many others showed up with all their different signs and joined in. The powerfulness faded and the message became scattered.
I am now trying organize a nationwide rally with one or two protesters on each corner of every commercial city against the country. The message was be clear and precise "BUSH IS ILLEGITIMATE AND CORRUPT" and everyone going out to run their weekend errands would see them because they're all over town, not just one location. They might talk to their family across town or across the state or even across the country, who all see the same message the same way. I see this as an effective way of becoming the media and letting people know there's a problem with this election.
Any thoughts?
