Could the Glibs sue for a refund of the recount fee?
Since the recount wasn't preformed in accordance with the statutory requirements, would the GLIBS have an actionable claim against the state for the fees paid for the recount?

This may have been discussed before, I've been gone for a while.

1. Ha Ha! That's a good one. They know they got a bargain @ $ 10...
per precinct. They got to stir crap and got their names and parties in the news and maybe, just maybe, come the next election all the people who are convinced without the slightest bit of proof that there was fraud will remember who their real friends are and vote for them.

3. The fact that the fees don't cover the costs is the state's problem.
You clearly don't think so, but the recount really was about honest elections. It also proved conclusively that we don't have them. It won't matter how well known any candidate is anymore, the outcome is predetermined. There is nothing that scares a Republican more than an honest count, evidence Washington, Ohio and Florida.

The only good to come of the abandonment of free elections is that as hard as they try, the crap that comes of absolute power will be absolutely one parties responsibility.

Ohio is now the asshole of the universe, shitty roads, services and schools. The consequence of undivided government is corruption at almost every level and a bankrupt government. Thank you Republican party. Heaven help those who created this disaster if the population actually had a voice.

4. If you think Ohio is bad, try Pa and it has a divided gov't...
although I've been trying ever since I moved here to figure out just exactly what is the difference in the two parties. I still have been unable to do so and a lot of other people have given up too, and just call them all Republicrats. Their motivation seems to be milking the citizens of every penny they can squeeze out and using it to give themselves bigger salaries and better perks, and of course to "employ" all their unemployable lazy family members. We also have shitty (or non-existant) services and schools (and some of the best paid teachers on earth and some of the worst test scores.) And Ohio cannot claim our perennial award given to us by America's truckers for the worst roads (not to mention expensive to travel) in the U.S! You have work to do in Ohio to compete in the same league as PA.

2. In the same crooked courts that have made partisan rulings
on everything else? Good luck.
