Call me crazy, but it seems like the contesting of Elector votes should be one of the biggest stories of the week.

Eastern Times

09:00 Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace
10:30 CBS Face the Nation
10:00 ABC This week with George Stephanopoulis
10:00 NBC Meet the Press
10:00 CNN Inside Politics
10:30 CBS Face the Nation
12:00 CNN Late Edition with Work Blitzer

This will be the last time that this shows get to say something before the Jan. 6 vote.

I mean, if the MSM doesn't cover this now then they really are stooges.

Does anyone know of guests that we should be looking for?

1. Somehow, I doubt it...
The media in this country has been complicit in nearly every bit of wrongdoing conducted by this administration. It should be big news, but aside from K.O., I have yet to see it garner the level of newsworthiness this story should have already commanded.

4. Last week, didn't the host of Meet the Press say
that a senator would be committing political suicide to contest the vote? It seems like someone posted that comment last week.

Maybe just a coincidence, but Conyers' timing seems perfect for landing on the Sunday morning shows.

I almost expected FOX to air a pre-emptive strike.

But I won't hold my breath for any of them.

2. they are avoiding it like the plague

To cover election fraud they will have to admit their own duplicity in the scandal. See recent discussions regarding exit poll data.

5. with their refusal to release the exit polls
the MSM has shown themselves to be implicated in the fraud. IMHO.

Their lack of reporting on the events also implicates them too.

6. I think its become a mute issue
its more like the king is here long live the king. heaven help us all.

it looks like even progressive sites (except us) are trying to justify it. there is an article in "the new democracy project" that um, well i didn't enjoy reading. here is the link. http://www.newdemocracyproject.org/newsletter.cfm?nl_id=136

7. regardless of the fraud.
the evidence is enough to begin a debate, and the hopeful outcome is that the machines will go. Democracy cannot be privately run, this is the biggest outrage we have ever had.

As long as there is questions behind the vote, * nor Kerry can be legitimized.

9. doubt it.
Perhaps a democratic minority, but there has to be enough people that if they found out that the elections were bogus, regardless of the winner, would want change.

It's just like a Saddam election, why bother counting, why bother heading to the polls, etc.

it's wide spread disenfranchisement.

11. No mention of Fraud discussion on the MTP intro
Colin Powell is having to do a ton of back-pedaling because of Bush's continuted mistakes. And yet Powell can't even admit that only committing $15 mil and waiting for days to respond was a mistake - despite the fact that we are now at $350 mil.

I cannot figure him out. I used to really like him, but he's been towing the * line and I've lost all respect.

12. Once again, blacks stand up for democracy. Media silence deafening!
How utterly sad for our failing democracy! We salute John Conyers for his leadership and exhort all Democrats to stand up for democracy!

Nothing else will matter if we cannot trust the results of our elections.
