I called McCain's office re: voter fraud
The receptionist was nice and said that they expected a lot of calls but they hadn't gotten very many.

So...can't hurt. Call McCain!!!

5. hmmmm...
That sounded positive of the receptionist.

Remember of how Bush in 2000 in the debates hurt McCain for his military service? McCain was crushed and hurt by his attack from Bush. Did he really ever get over this?

7. Good for you. I sent him an email a couple weeks ago. If I HAD
to live under a repug regime, I would pick him. But, how he can be nice to Bush, after what he did to him, makes me wonder. Maybe its the keep your enemy close deal. But that poll at pollingreport.com I saw last night had Rudy ahead of him in popularity. We need to hire some Private Detectives to start digging up some dirt on him. Jeb was way low. Guess that is why they are parading him around Asia.

Said he won't support the nuclear option to prevent fillibusters.

That means they don't have the votes, & we do! LOL!

19. Really?
I'll call.
I voted for McCain against Bush in the 2000 priamry. I've oft mentioned that I'm a moderate and I would have been happy with McCain or Gore (happier with Gore, but not disgusted like I am with Shrub had McCain gotten the nomination and the win).

I have friends who worked on his campaign in South Carolina - people HE knows. Should I pull rank and call? Seriously. Should I?

I can say that my friend so-and-so in South Carolina, who worked on your campaign... fuck this shit - I'll get my friend to call. He's voted Dem ever since Bush screwed over McCain IN South Carolina.

Tally Ho!

26. I thought all through the campaign.....
Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 12:31 AM by Blue_In_AK
....that McCain must have been secretly feeling very sick having to support Bush in public against his friend John Kerry. Remember how they worked together on the Vietnam POW issues?

For all we know, McCain may have voted for Kerry in the privacy of his voting booth.
