How dangerous is this strategy?

Once changes take place, it's hard to fix them. They often spin restoration of good as being something extreme. So we would have to be careful with an idea like this.

What if we let Bush get through some of his extreme policies and worked behind the scenes to protect affected Dems but not others?

For instance, if he killed SS and Medicare, maybe his supporters among the seniors would realize how stupid they were. We would need to put together funds for Democratic seniors so they would survive until the rest wake up.

He can get rid of choice, as long as we make sure that Dems are able to take flights out of the country - so they are less affected. Then perhaps some of his women supporters would freak out.

I'm just thinking that perhaps the only way we could convince some of these idiots with the low IQs that Bush is a bad guy is to let them experience what they voted for.

There are some changes, we have to stop. These involve changes that make rigging more likely and changes that affect the environment (and could end all life on Earth) and, of course, which kill innocent people in other country. California voted blue so let's not let him make it a radioactive wasteland with Yucca Mountain. We also need to defeat his nuclear arsenal in a way that makes people realize how bad it is.


This seems like an idea which could backfire but I'm wondering if there is a way to make it work, such that no one would ever trust a Republican again. And don't flame me. This idea is not workable in its current form. But I'm thinking that it might be possible to fashion something along this line that might make the bad guys realize how bad they are.

Social security and medicaid/medicare are not just for seniors. Many disabled people depend on (pitifully small already) social security disability checks. Many families depend on foodstamps or medicaid for their children. Assuming you intend to help only deserving Dems, how do you decide who benefits from your charity. What is the criteria? Who decides? If we could pull this off, it would be a vindication of Bush's Faith Based Charity crap -- except we wouldn't be able to pull it off for the same reason Faith Based anything is a crock of shit.

Stay away from Wal Mart. Don't buy any big ticket items you don't absolutely need. Turn off the tv. If almost 50 million Americans stopped buying non-essentials, we'd bring the bastards to their knees in no time.

I just don't think there is. Even if they ended every SSA administered program, every HUD program, every environmental protection tomorrow I still think they're be a vast number of morans who'd just pray, "Oh sweet lord jeebus, give our great leader the power to overcome those evil libruls and moslims that hate America and want us to fail."
