AP reporter 'Pack your bags, or get it together'
Edited on Mon Jan-10-05 05:04 PM by Woo
I just got off the phone with my sister. She usually doesn't call me in the middle of the day, so that was odd and she had a sense of urgency in her voice that this gets out, even though I don't think it's new or suprising news... it's just evidence that the other side didn't take any time off after the election --

She just got off the phone with a good friend who works for the AP... her friend was quite concerned about the complacency of the American people --

Despite what comes out of his lying lips, it seems that chances are high that Jeb Bush will be run for President in 2008. We MUST stop this. I haven't seen it in the news, with the exception of the Tsunami trip with Powell, but in the last month she says Jeb Bush has made many trips outside of this country, so he can be 'introduced' to the International community and there have been 'several' moves made that indicate the beginnings of a National campaign.

Basically the message is we can't trust our elected officials(democratic) to be able to fight this battle alone, the alarm needs to sound. So her advice was to start applying for those permanent residency visas now to the country of your choosing -- or 'we' need to get it together NOW, because they aren't waiting around.

and left and right alike, they keep pooh-poohing the idea because Jebbie has said he's not running. Well, folks, four years is a long time and he IS a Bush and he HAS inherited all that familiy's character liabilities as well as its ambition.

...and Noelle? Can they keep her in a padded cell?

I think the Jeb-ernaut is all about the weecowboy placating dictators and sheiks and leaders of faux democracies, who think that if you send a relative, as either an emissary or a hostage, it means that you are sincere.

I say, watch out for Porter Goss and Bill Frist. Who the fuck ever thought that a FAILED politician like GHWB, who weaseled his way around the political spectrum as a loyal appointee, would ever be president? The Road to the White House could well run through the CIA....and loyalty counts for a lot with these insane neocons.

21. Doesn't really matter...
If Jeb can beat Gingrich or not... especially if they're rigging the elections, the person who they want to win, wins... period.

I guess it doesn't make a difference who runs in 2008... although I think it leaves an unusually vile taste in my mouth to see Jeb Bush up to bat, can you imagine how bad we really do suck if we let these corrupt profiteers in OUR White House... AGAIN?

The main point is, the tides of working invisibly need to turn very quickly -- and that only can happen en masse. Chimpwise shouldn't be able to leave the White House without having to beat back thousands of people everytime he puts his crooked foot on OUR west lawn.

.... Personally, I think Jeb is not likely to succeed, simply because his wife doesn't fit the mold and he has way more negative information in the public realm than Shrub. In comparison, the Simian Emperors misdeeds were all too far in the past, and any documentation was buried.

20. The lawsuits need to be filed BEFORE the election!
If the machines are the same and the ballots are the same and there's a Katharine Harris Blackwell in place, Jeb will be president. UNLESS, we demand access to the damn machines and software before, during and after the elections. I also propose we station a person at every precinct in this country with a video camera to record long lines, intimidation and the like. They might be accompanied by a notary and take on-the-spot affidavits from people with complaints about the voting process. We cannot let another election be stolen!

22. By 2008, Jeb may well
be running for President as the incumbent VP (at least).

Jeb is a PNAC-style über-neocon -- the kind that dominates this government.

All the paleocons and the "left-behind" neocons had better stop their dreaming -- the "revolution" is no longer theirs to control or contain.

And I can't resist a snippet of song:

Men of Harlech, stop your dreaming,
Can't you see their spear points gleaming?
See their warrior pennants streaming,
To this battlefield.

A double envelopment (the horns of the bull) requires considerable military skills, and closing to hand-to-hand range against (rapid firing) rifle armed opponents takes great courage.

The valiant stand at Rorke's Drift was preceded by the great Zulu victory at Isandlwana.

There is obviously a plan. Congress is not going to allow us to reform anything in a manner they cannot use to win next time. Fraud would not have aided Bush alone. Some Congressmen got in on fraud most likely they are going to keep what works. And make it harder in the courts and Congress for us to stop them next time. If we can catch them.

This is why Newt is floating rumours about running.....he has zero chance and knows it, but if Newt threatens to run it makes Jeb look better in comparison.

And speaking of comparisons, Jeb will appear a whole lot more palatable than George...he can speak and walk at the same time.

He will be a serious contender. We need a better one.

The complacency is because the media has failed to advise the general public what the heck has been happening.

Tell AP he ought to sharpen his pencil or strengthen his fingers because he has a lot of making up to do to the American people and he best start using his resources to try to begin.

He has a lot of explaining to do and a lot of people to notify!

First of all, I'm not going anywhere. I ain't getting run outta my country by a bunch of right wingers.

Second, if he's so concerned, he should start reporting on the true death toll in Iraq, the true number of wounded, the voting irregularities in Ohio and Florida, the coverup of the incompetence leading to 9/11.

My words for HIM are "Get it together". No matter how hard I work at my part, if he isn't doing his part, I'm wasting my time. Democracy can't survive without a free press.

42. The moral to the story is...
The overwhelming theme and I'm sure the AP person who passed this to my sister will agree -- You can't sit back and expect someone else to do the work for you, that includes the media, because it's not going to happen. I think the majority of the reporters are with us, but reporting seems to have been relegated to whispers, watercoolers, and 'a friend of a friend who works for the AP told me this...' conversations. I honestly think a person that's not on the right side in these organizations will be standing in the unemployment line, look at CBS. What can you do about that?

So we have to go another route ... it's pretty scary out there, most of America Democrat and Republican are walking around in a fog. I went over to a friends house the other night, ya know that friend that you have nothing in common with but she keeps calling you so you think, ahhhh jeeeez alright.

She's a democrat and she sat down at her computer and said I want to show you something funny since we're both on the same side. It was the SNL thing with Will Ferrell doing George Bush on his ranch, I'd seen it before the election and it was funny. Now, it's just not funny anymore, it makes me angry and she doesn't get why it makes me angry, even as a democrat she doesn't get it. It's not a joke anymore.

I highly recommend everyone watch 'Control Room' -- it's about the Al jazeera news network and the opening days of the Iraq War. You'll also get some insights into the bullshit our media is reporting OR not reporting. I thought it was a pretty balanced doco.

Why did Jeb Bush and federal agents seize records from Huffman Aviation - Florida flight school of Mohammed Atta, and other 9/11 hijackers - in the middle of the night following the attacks of September 11th and load them onto a C-130? And why did Jeb Bush know, hours after the attack, where to look?

Election Fraud: Spooks, Saudis, Florida "The Covert Op That Ate The World"
January 4,2005 -Venice, FL.
by Daniel Hopsicker

While both of the terrorist pilots who crashed into the World Trade Center were students at Venice Florida’s Huffman Aviation, the flight school's owner Wallace J. Hilliard, 72, of Naples, FL., was simultaneously pursuing a diplomatic opening to Fidel Castro’s Cuba.

But it's Hilliard’s involvement with ADNAN KHASHOGGI, arms merchant and international fugitive, which we find most intriguing. The SAUDI BILLIONAIRE’s name has now surfaced in connection with the ownership of two of the election service companies whose performance in the 2004 Presidential contest has inspired heated controversy.

"THE BIG FIX 2004"
How to Fix a Presidential Election

An investigation into the surprisingly-sordid history of America’s “election services industry” has revealed that executives and owners of the two largest companies, E S & S and Sequoia Pacific, have been convicted of bribery and suborning public officials in more than a dozen states.

52. Your welcome, and thank you! Hopsicker's article has incredible food
for thought, and more!

Before I cite some of that article, I just want to add this about Khashoggi. After he was pardoned for his many tresspasses by Papa Bush. Papa and Adnan became biz partners in a Canadian gold ompany that was supposedly responsible for the death of many gold miners. This was reported by Greg Palast.

From your link:

http://www.madcowprod.com/01042004.html

Cloak & Dagger in Green Bay

A world away in Packer Country, the story of Hilliard’s involvement with Khashoggi remains to be written.

But when Hilliard's home-town Green-Bay Press Gazette did a front page review of "Welcome to TerrorLand" they had noticed the same thing we did:

"Terrorists, drug runners, cover-ups, CIA, KGB and shady characters are the cloak-and-dagger kinds of elements that make for a riveting spy novel or action thriller. It's hardly the place you'd expect to find retired Green Bay businessman Wally J. Hilliard."

Was Adnan Khashoggi a principal in a company which has been counting the votes of American servicemen overseas? Answer: highly likely.

Both Election.com, and Triad, the election company cited for causing most of the problems in Ohio, should receive close scrutiny for evidence of Khashoggi involvement.

While there has been no suggestion of it anywhere in the media, the name “Triad” was used extensively by Khashoggi at exactly the same time (the early 80’s) and in exactly the same place (Palm Beach, Florida) as the “Triad Governmental Systems” involved in Ohio’s current election “difficulties.”

Khashoggi owned a number of companies named “Triad.”

Khashoggi owned “Triad International Marketing.”

“Northrop, the Los Angeles-based aircraft and electronics manufacturer, owes Triad International Marketing, S.A., a Liechtenstein corporation controlled by Khashoggi, $31 million in commissions on sales to the Saudi air force,” reported the L.A. Times on August 29, 1987.

Khashoggi owned “Triad America.”

“Creditors claim they are owed more than $100 million by Triad America and its subsidiaries… in Salt Lake City. Leonard Gumport, the court-appointed examiner, also is recommending that Triad America seek repayment of the $189.2 million loaned to companies controlled by the Khashoggis,” reported the Salt Lake Tribune.

From the company’s literature: “TRIAD Governmental Systems, Inc., is a nationally recognized corporation that is committed to providing quality, computer based systems for governmental voting units. Incorporated in 1982, TRIAD GSI was founded to provided quality support and services for Rapp Systems' Election products, with election experience that spans a quarter of a century.”

In 1982, Khashoggi owned Triad Farms in Kentucky.

In "The Blue Grass Conspiracy” by Sally Denton, she revealed that the large drug smuggling operation called “The Company,” headquarters were near Lexington, Kentucky, at Triad Farms, owned by Khashoggi.

That’s just about the same time (1983) that TRIAD Governmental Systems was founded…

“Lightning Strike, Computer Glitch... Whatever.”

We also discovered that a strikingly similar allegation of Triad employee tampering was lodged against the company all the way back in 1988…

According to Jackie Beville, a former employee of the Supervisor of Elections in Hillsborough County, Triad workers adjusted the software to clear up a ballot-counting problem shortly before the election, and the machinery should then have been recertified following the work.

When questioned, she was told that Triad workers were just fixing problems caused by a lightning strike.

Beville disputes that the weather had anything to do with the repair work.

But even it if did, "My question is, why was it a secret? The party chairmen were not called in. The canvassing board was not notified. The Division of Elections was not notified.

"Why was I forbidden to mention it? If the party chairmen and division had been notified, it may not have been a big deal. But it should have been made public. Everyone has a right to know."

Triad manufactures punch-card voting systems, and also wrote the computer program that tallied the punch-card votes cast in 41 Ohio counties last November. The company is owned by a man named Tod Rapp, who has donated money to the Republican Party as well as the election campaign of George W. Bush.

Given the broad distribution of Triad voting systems in Ohio, the allegations that have been leveled against this company strike to the heart of the assumed result of the 2004 election.

And not just Triad…

Election.com should be examined for the invisible hand of the Saudi financier and CIA “fixer.”

News reports stated Election.com was owned by an offshore Saudi front company in Bermuda consisting of five unnamed Saudi billionaires, until scrutiny forced a sale to Accenture, the remnants of the disgraced and disbanded Arthur Anderson, the accounting firm which made Enron possible.

From a recent Federal lawsuit involving Khashoggi: “Ultimate Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda investment company owned by Adnan Khashoggi, the company's largest shareholder.”

Election.com was also involved in the U.S.’s big democracy push into Eastern Europe…in Estonia, just a stolen vote’s throw away from the Ukraine.

53. "apply for those permanent residency visas now
to the country of your choosing -- or 'we' need to get it together NOW, because they aren't waiting around."

I agree with that. The situation in your country gets scarier by the week.

Only yesterday we read on DU "Congress passes `doomsday' plan"... already the first (non-terrorist) people have been charged under PATRIOT. It will be dangerous I fear. I say get out while you can. I am very worried.
