Here's What I Did - Hope It Helps In Some Way

I donated to BBV, not much, but I did. Then I wrote and mailed letters to Dave Obey, Senator Feingold, and Senator Kohl. I also sent accompanying e-mails, but I realize that there's nothing like a letter in hand. Tomorrow I WILL call their offices, as well as my state representatives. I WILL do this EVERY day till innauguration day, or until I get real results! It might be kind of "pesty," but who cares? I am not usually this persistent, but I believe that I still have a voice, at least to some people. Guess we'll see what happens.

i have done the same. donate, contact congress, especially your dem congressmen unless you have a rep that you think is honest.
write newspapers, call shows. tell friends, relatives, coworkers. pass the info on.

we will see. we are just the unwashed masses, but we are ready willing able and eager. we have been wronged and we will demand it be put right. all we need is leadership and a call to action.

I have a new program for myself called 20" a day for democracy. In that 20" I have to do whatever I can as fast as I can to make an impact. I plan on doing this seven days a week.

Doing this every day for the next four years, I'm going to have some political capital that I can spend HOWEVER I WANT!

Your suggestion is what I will occupy myself with for the next few days.

BBV has filed FOIA's in all counties. Money is needed to pursue. I believe the amount needed was 50K. They're asking everyone to donate $5 but even if every person on DU donated $1 they'd have what they need. They're asking for donations to be made by check so they don't have to pay the credit card fee. The address to send checks to came from Randi Rhodes website.
