another "Be the Media" action
Make your own T-shirt and be the media:

Go to your favorite office supply store and buy a small package of inkjet iron-on t-shirt transfers. This will cost you about 5 bucks.

On the way home stop at a discount store and buy a 3-pack of white undershirts. about another 5 bucks.

When you get home, flick on your computer. Open up your word processor and type in these words "ASK ME ABOUT ELECTION FRAUD"

Make them as big as you can fit on to one page. Get creative. Mess around with the fonts, colors, formatting, until you think it looks real perty. Put some clip art on there if you want.

Print it on to the iron on transfer. make sure you choose the right setting on your printer "preferences" as it needs to print backwards. also make sure you print on the correct side of the paper. failing in either of these will result in a wasted transfer and loss of about a dollar.

Iron the sucker on to one of the tshirts

Print this document and make 100 copies of it at Kinkos:

Now you're ready.

Next time you're going to a party, or work, or any appropriate place, wear the tshirt and bring the flyers.

No instructions needed for the rest of it.

1. Print Business Cards
with important link information. I made up one for the People's Email Network, www.thepen.us which facilitates sending messages to Congress. I pass them out at demonstrations. Keep the message simple with a link to take action. At 10 cards to a page, I can print 100 cards in color on my inkjet.

Pen Mission Statement:
"Our democracy is only as strong as the participation of the people. Do your representatives only hear from you once every two or four years, assuming you vote at all? There are members of Congress who publicly bemoan the fact that they don't hear from more of their constituents more often. Our leaders are our generals in the political arena, but we are their troops. They can't do battle for us against opposing interests without being able to demonstrate our ongoing support. The People's Email Network is constructed to facilitate communication with our elected officials. By your participation you can establish that you are a voter who will call your government to account at each successive election. Your views do count. They will be heard. And most importantly, when you cast your votes in the section above, be sure to use the ground-breaking input functions of our website to also submit the email addresses of everyone you know. In this way we can together mobilize the entire country to speak in the loudest possible voice."

4. Love it ! And use Craig's list. I've met Criag Newmark and he's
a no sh!t guy.

I produced a benefit at a pretty big venue here, and he came out to speak for a few minutes. And you could tell, he'd rather have been chewing glass.

Anyway, he's a huge community guy. So, use his site!
